I also live with my Dad but he's in the military. We don't get to see him a lot. The last time we talked was when he was deployed in Sudan, that was a month ago. The last time he was home was in the summer, we used to have so much fun when he was home. His smile is the only thing that made me happy. Well, truly happy anyways.

This is my mom's best friend. Gabrielle is like a second mother to me. She's known me since I was born. Her and my mom were actually pregnant at the same time. Her husband is also in the military. My mom and her met on the job. They're retired cops. I know what you're thinking, aren't they only forty? Why are they retired? Well when my dad went into the military my mom resigned from the force to take care of Connor and I. Gabrielle did the same thing. She has a daughter named Megan.
