I never thought cliques were real. I always thought they were these fictional groups that were only included in movies or television shows. It never occurred to me that one day I'd come to a school filled with them. And don't underestimate it when I say FILLED.
The idea of moving terrified me. Change was an idea I despised. No- I was just straight-up scared of it. However, my parents had a totally different view on this. They thought a change would be good for me. I was currently going to a private school, and I have inherited no social skills. So, my parents say that this is my time to get 'socialized'. Is that a good thing? Probably not.
We were moving to Chicago. Chicago, Illinois. I had no idea what it was like there. Oh god, what if they didn't have Chick Fil A? Nevermind, they do. I searched it up. Regardless it could be totally different there. It probably would be. I would just try my best to fit in.
