"Wands first?" Kyrios asked hopefully

"No, robes first." Said Narcissa, "Lucius'll go get your books and I'll will go get potion things and look at the wand stores for you, we'll meet back here at Gringotts"

"Ok." Kyrios said, "Come on Draco." They ran off to Madam Malkin's together.

Madam Malkin was a squat, smiling witch dressed entirely in mauve.

"Hello Ma'am. We're going to Hogwarts, we'll need our uniforms." Kyrios said politely

"Come, come along." She said. She led them to the back of the shop to be fitted. "Up there now," Madam Malkin said gesturing to two footstools. She slipped long robes over them and began pinning them down to size. Another boy came to the front of the shop.

"Oh! Rosa, Vera! Come take care of these two children while I go tend to that boy."

Draco scowled at being called a child while Kyrios was having silent fits of laughter at the look on Draco's face.

"Hey shut it!" Draco said to him

"What?" He asked innocently

"Forget it..." He grumbled

"Hogwarts dear?" They heard Malkin say loudly just as the boy began to speak, "Got the lot here—two other young men here being fitted up just now, in fact." Madam Malkin stood the boy on a stool next to Draco

"Hello," Draco said, "Hogwarts too?"

"Yes," said the boy

"My father's next door buying books and Mother's up the street looking at wands," Draco drawled with a bored voice. "Then I'm going to drag them off to look at racing brooms. I don't see why first years can't have their own. I think I'll bully father into getting me one and I'll smuggle it in somehow."

The boy grimaced

Kyrios scoffed, "More like you'll plead and whine until Lucius gets you one. Personally I don't see the point of flying."

"Just because you don't doesn't mean no one else does," Draco turned to the boy, "Have you got your own broom?"

"No," The boy said

"Play quidditch at all?" He asked

"No,"

"I do Father says it's a crime if I'm not picked to play or my house and I must say, I agree. Know what house you'll be in?" Draco asked again

"No,"

"Well, no one really does until they get there, do they?" Kyrios jumped in, "But we know we'll be in Slytherin, all our family have been —

"Imagine being in Hufflepuff though, I think I'd leave. Don't you?" said Draco

"Mmm..." agreed the boy, though rather uncertainly

"Well now, Draco, don't be rude. All the houses have their own benefits," A shadow outside the window caught his eye, "I say look at that man!" Kyrios exclaimed, A large man was standing outside smiling, pointing at to ice cream cones

"That's Hagrid." The boy said smugly

"Oh, I think I've heard of him. Isn't he some kind of servant?" Kyrios asked

"He's the gamekeeper."

"Same thing." Kyrios said, "Where are your parents though? Why's he with you?"

"My parents are dead," The boy said coldly, "And I think Hagrid's brilliant."

"Oh, sorry for asking. What's your surname anyways?"

"P–"

"That's done for you my dear." Madam Malkin said to the boy

"Well, I'll see you at Hogwarts I suppose." Draco drawled

After a while they got their robes finished and payed, Kyrios had to drag Draco to get his wand instead of going to look at the new Nimbus 2000 broom.

When they arrived back at Gringotts Lucius and Narcissa were already there.

"Come Draco, Kyrios we are going to get your wands." Narcissa said, "Hurry up."

"Are we going to Ollivander's?" Draco asked

"No, we're going to get custom wands made for you two." Lucius said

"Really?" Asked Kyrios

"Yes, we're going to have to go to Knockturn Alley for this. Stay close, don't separate and never talk to anyone without permission." Lucius said

Kyrios and Draco cautiously entered the shop with Lucius and Narcissa.

"Lucius, Narcissa. Welcome back to my shop where we make customized wands specially for the owner." A male voice from behind them said, "Hello young men, My name is Derage Anterpos and I shall be helping you create your wands today." he said to Kyrios and Draco

"Now," he said, "Follow me." They came to a stop in front of a bunch of woods and many different cores laid out in boxes and phials on a table. "Wave your hand over these woods and pick out the one you feel most drawn to. It is okay to have multiple woods but no more than seven, you may have two cores if you must. You do not have to, it does not normally make your wand much stronger and I personally would not like to have my ingredients wasted. You may begin."

The two boys went around the table, hands out above the woods and cores. Eventually they both found the woods and cores for their wands.

"Wonderful," Derage said, "I'll have your wands done in an hour. It'll be thirty two galleons and five sickles for that."

"I'll give you sixteen galleons and three sickles first and you'll get the rest when we have our wands." Lucius said

As the exited the shop Lucius said they could go get some ice cream from Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour and wait.

***One Hour Later***

"There you go young masters. Here are your wands, one Fir and Alder with a horned serpent horn as the core and a Hawthorn wand with cores of unicorn hair string and coral."

Kyrios took his Fir and Alder wand in hand, a rush of power filled him from his fingertips to the rest of his body.

"Wingardium Leviosa." He muttered quietly and flicked his wand upwards, a black quill floated upwards for a few seconds before he let it down. Kyrios turned to Derage, "Thank you sir. Uncle? I think we can give him his pay now."

His uncle dropped a small bag of galleons and sickles into Derage's waiting palm. "Don't waste it  Anterpos." He said warningly

The man merely flashed a gold tooth at him, and grinned.

The family grabbed each other's hands and apparated away.
