Jaune Arc - The Second Primarch (Volume two)

Chapter four - unwelcomed guest

After the ceremony everything returned to it's current state. Marine were training and patrolling the area of Solis, techmarines were inspecting weapon systems and other. Training of scouts had increased, after the ceremony. Jaune and Cardin understood that they need more loyal scouts, so they increase training. The results were great, the new system break down those who doesn't want to serve the primarchs, those who really wants to serve overcome this training and became battle brothers. Lightbearer was standing near the door to armory and reading reports on the dataslate. Three marines came in the view and approach him. One of them asked:

"Good day, brother Lightbearer, can we use armory for a moment ?"

Lightbearer looked at them and asked:

"Why ?"

"The ammo container on the shooting range is empty, we need to refill it"

Lightbearer replies:

"Alright then, you can have your ammo"

Marines walk in the armory and closed the door. Lightbearer continue reading reports until he heard the strange noise coming from the vent. He draw his bolt pistol in attention. Suddenly, he heard a crashing noise, coming from the armory, and the yelling of marines:

"Hey, what the ?!"

*More crashing noises*

*A xeno spy ! Get him !"

Lightbearer decided to enter the armory, but before he entered he heard punching noises. He entered the armory and see those three marines, holding someone in the arm lock. The spy has ornate cloathes and ornate helmet. Lightbearer realised who is that spy - an eldar. Eldars were a bad news.

"Alright, what happened ?"

Asked lightbearer. Marine said, that when they started to pick ammo, this spy crashed through the vent. Lightbearer ordered marines to lead the eldar in the prisoner's block and have an eye on him. Lightbearer contacted Jaune and said that they catch the eldar spy and need his help. Jaune arrives to the prisoner's block and see eldar in the cell. By eldar's cloathes it seem that he is autarch. Eldar saw Jaune and snarled :

"Filthy mon'kaigh, you will not hear my words"

Eldar is female. Jaune said with blank face:

"I have no grudge against your race, eldar. No one here does. You are in the cell, because you entered our base"

Eldar didn't believed him and said:

"You are lying, you mon'kaighs all the same, you are just a primitives, that captured our galaxy. The galaxy, which belongs to us by rights!"

Jaune knew this dialogue. Eldar wants to anger him. However, Jaune knew about eldar's history.

"You didn't own anything. All belonged to the old ones, not you. You forgot, that you and your race is nothing more than cannon fodder for the old ones. Just like orks, you were fighting with necrons, because they can't fight by themselves. Your race birthed Slaanesh, the chaos god who, technically, leaded to the Horus heresy..."

Jaune continued to describe Eldars race, using the ability, which was taught by the Emperor, which make autarch cry. Jaune looked at the crying body of eldar and leaved the prisoner block.

New mournival meeting. This time, they were discussing about some things. Lightbearer said:

"My lords, we detected strange signals on the dragon-shaped island. It seems that someone is building something there. This might be Atlas SDF"

"Atlas SDF ?" Questioned Chaplain "Didn't we destroyed their military ?"

"Yes, we also tells them to not building army. They build self defence force instead, which technically, isn't army"

Jaune interrupted them and said:

"We will talk about that more later. Now we have other things. Patrol 1-4 reported about huge grimm on the west of Solis. They reported, that this is unknown grimm and they can't be sure, if this is grimm at all."

Cardin asked:

"What do you mean, "not sure" ? Isn't grimm look like each other ?"

"They are, but this... Creature didn't look like grimm. It's doesn't have black fur, bone mask and fetish for killing. The creature didn't see them, so it can't detect emotions."

Chaplain asked:

"What is it look like ?"

Lightbearer signed and said:

"Huge, skinny humanoid. Twenty metres long. Patrol didn't see it's head. The creature was just standing in the trees, like it was hiding. From the head of it, the strange sounds were coming"

Jaune rubbed his head. This creature didn't sounds like any grimm he heard off, usually, the grimm attack mindlessly and can see emotions. The creature didn't attacked the patrol, but Jaune can't be sure if it saw the patrol. Also... Twenty metres ? Strange sound coming from his head. This might be interesting.
