Y/N's palms sweated as she walked up to the hottest guy in her school, ready to confess her feelings for him.
"I-um, hi," she cleared her throat. "Hi Sean."
He looked down at her because she was really short. "What do you want?"
"I was just wondering if," she mumbled the rest.
"Uhm, what?"
"Do you want to go out with me?"
His cheeks turned bright red. "You want me to go out with you? Uh, this is awkward. I'm sorry, but I'm just not really into you."
She nodded quickly. " Of course. That's totally fine. Thanks anyway." She ran off with tears in her eyes.
Y/N went back to her best friend,
"Well," her friend said. "How did it go? Did he say yes?"
"No," Y/N muttered. "Why is it so hard to get someone to like me."
"It isn't that hard."
Y/N glared at her friend. "Easy for you to say. You're on your third boyfriend this month."
"You just have to go for it, love. Be bold. Do what the guy wants."
"But every guy wants me to stay away."
She hesitated. " That's not true. I bet someone here likes you."
“Yeah, I doubt that.”
