Two hundred and sixteen hours until she's gone.
He still didn't suspect anything, he thought this was all normal. He thought that she was just being a happy normal teenager.
Elijah was glad that Amethyst was finally being happy and living her life but something seemed off.

Anastasia would be the one to give Amethyst his goodbye letter. He couldn't face her, he didn't want to leave her but he couldn't stand living in this pain.
He spent the days that he had left, trying to help her see that there's more to life than the darkness. Elijah wanted her to live the life that he couldn't.
Once he's gone, everything else will come naturally.
Yes, she'll be a little sad at first but she'll get over it eventually.
