Karmi POV

Itś been almost a week and Aladdin is yet to wake up. I've been staying with the younger boy ever since he was placed into this room. Not because I cared about the blueberry, but because he was in a vulnerable state and if someone were to attack he'd be unable to protect himself.

Today would have been no different, however my guard duties came to a halt when Sinbad barged in and dragged me out of the room by my collar, paying no heed to my yells and signs of struggles.

The grape didn't release me until we reached the courtyard where am determined looking Alibaba stood. I scowled at the sight of the two of them, about to tell them off before Sinbad suddenly spoke up, ¨Alibaba, you wanted to learn how to use your dijin and Karmi I noticed during the fight against Judal you barely used yours. Leading me to the conclusion you most likely don't know how to use yours either. So I figured I'll teach you both at the same time-¨

¨Please, let me save you the time.¨ I cut the man off, holding up his hand while looking him dead in the eyes, ¨I am able to use my dijin's properly, both of them. I can go into partial and full djinn take over. I just rarely use both since I have my own magic.¨

As to prove my point, I summoned Eboni for a partial shift. I felt a bolt of electricity flow through my body from my ear, which grew heavier as Eboni grew into a dangle chain type of earring. Closing my eyes, I formed my weapons in my hands. Two lightning bolts were created from a mixture of my light magic and Eboni's lightening magic. Once I was sure they formed, I opened my eyes looking at a surprised Alibaba and a... surprisingly curious Sinbad.

Ignoring the slight throbbing on my ear, I explained. ¨Since my dijin's are not in actual weapons, I have to create my own with my magic. It's tiring and drains my energy faster but it makes me feel closer to the two and they also feel more comfortable as jewelry since I rarely have to take them off. Plus, as a bonus if I get kidnapped or something no one would really take my jewelry, they will surely take my weapons which would leave me in a bind. It's A win-win for both myself and my dijins, however, ¨ Squeezing my hands to rid the lightning bolts before allowing Eboni to return to her vessels usual state resulting in my earlobe bleeding a little bit, ¨Since my vessels are connected to my body, I can feel the transformations. When I shift Bast I get minor burns, and as you can see with Eboni my ear bleeds a bit from being stretched too fast. Luckily the earring isn't that small to begin with so afterwards it doesn't fall out.¨

Rubbing his chin, Sinbad took in the information before letting out a small hum, ¨I see, for most dugen captures we need a weapon since we can't use magic. Since you can it must be a result of your huge rukh reserves. How interesting, I would ask more but I'm afraid there's not much time left, I still have to help Alibaba, maybe once all of this is over we could sit down and talk more about this over dinner?¨

I almost accepted the offer, not being one to pass up a chance for free food, but a strong sense of daja vü hit me.

¨Woah, mister you can light up your sword? That looks interesting wanna fight?¨ 10 year old me spoke, looking up at the red haired man who had just finished taking down an enemy, a fairly difficult one by the looks of it.

Looking back at me, the man raised an eyebrow, putting away his weapon as he looked down at me, ¨Hm? Do you think you can beat me? I don't even need my sword to deal with a shrimp like you.¨

I let out a growl of irritation at his words, he's underestimating me! ¨Mister, with all due respect. I'm pretty sure the fight won't last as long as you think, you're old and tired if I don't defeat you then surely your old man bones will take you out.¨ I let a grin appear on my face at the insult that I was sure would rile him up.
