five. (final)

it's 6.30 am in the morning and seulgi is already in her class, alone. she has never been going to school at this early, because she usually go at like 7.35 am.

she taps her fingers on her desk, sighing as she having a hard time to think if she should confess to joohyun or not. but at the same time she also feels really sad that today will be the last day of seeing joohyun.

she really doesn't want to move to a new school. because she wants to see joohyun everyday.

seeing joohyun smiling, laughing or just sitting right there on her seat already makes seulgi happy even though joohyun never notices it.

but again, at the same time, she also thinks that moving to a new school is probably a good thing to her.

so that she can moves on from joohyun and stop thinking about her, everyday. because she knows joohyun will never feels the same way and she knows joohyun will never likes her back.

plus she is in a relationship with someone already that makes seulgi gets hurt a lot and feels heartbroken especially the day when she saw joohyun smiling because of her boyfriend.

seulgi rests her head on her desk, her head starting to gets hurt a bit because she thinks too much about it since last night. she sighs deeply and closes her eyes, “if only i didn't go to school in here, i would never fall for her.”

she then hears someone opening the door, she opens her eyes, looking at the person and sees joohyun entering the class, with a big smile shows on her face.

the older notices seulgi is there and immediately walks to seulgi as she waves her hands happily. “seulgi-ah you come to school early today.” she chuckles.

seulgi shows a fake smiles, “yeah because i slept early last night.” she lies, looking at the beautiful girl in front of her.

“yah! you should come to school early again tomorrow so that i have someone to talk to!”  joohyun says, raising her voice a bit.

‘tomorrow?’

‘tomorrow, i won't be here anymore.’

seulgi smiles a bit, “oh sure.” she nods her head that makes joohyun jumps up and down excitedly. she feels so happy that she finally has someone to talk to in the morning.

because usually her bestfriends, park sooyoung and kim yerim never come to school early just like her. so all she does in the morning is just writing something on her book while waiting for her bestfriends.

“thank you seulgi.” joohyun says with her soft voice, smiling before she walks to her desk.

school just ends.

joohyun is walking down on the street, on her way to go home while listening to a calming song using her earpiece, in a low volume.

the air is a bit cold but its also a bit windy. there are few cars on the road but no one is walking down on the street. except for two persons, bae joohyun and,

kang seulgi.

seulgi's been following her because she wants to ‘tell’ her right now. she will tries to be brave. she doesn't care what will joohyun's reaction after hearing it. she just wants joohyun to know, that's all.

seulgi is behind her, walking slowly with a sad smile while looking at joohyun.

‘alright seulgi let's do this.’ she says to her self.

she takes a deep breath, before she calls joohyun and stops walking.

“joohyun!”

joohyun stops walking when she hears someone calls her name. she takes off her left earpiece, turning around with her confuse face and looks at the person. “oh? seulgi?” she mutters and gasps a bit.

seulgi smiles and waves to her before she starts to speak, “i have something to tell you.” she says trying her best to not get nervous as she looks down then go back to look at the girl in front of her.

“mhm, what is it?” joohyun asks curiously, raising her eyebrows a bit.

seulgi gulps, “i..” she stops, breathing out trying to let go of the nervousness with her heart beating so faster.

“i...” seulgi wants to say it but she feels nervous. even more nervous.

joohyun blinks her eyes, “um, you what?” she asks slowly.

“i like you.”

kang seulgi finally says it,

she finally says it.

the feeling she's been keeping for 10 months, she finally tells it to joohyun.

joohyun doesn't have any words to say something. she is just completely shock, she did not expect the sticky note that seulgi wrote is about her. she did not expect seulgi would like her.

seulgi gulps again, “i like you a lot joohyun.” she says again with her heart beating another level of faster. she then smiles a bit but crying in the inside.

“seul—” joohyun is finally trying to say something, but seulgi quickly cuts her off, because she doesn't want to hear what joohyun is going to say.

“no, it's fine you don't have to give me an answer. because..” she stops, letting out a big sigh before she starts to speak again, “im afraid that i might regret for telling you this.”

after a few minutes of them staying quiet and look at each other, seulgi decides to break the silence, “so.. yeah that's it. be careful when you go home and goodbye.” she says to joohyun for the last time with a smile, she turns around and begins to walk.

joohyun still remains silent and is in shock as she looks at seulgi, walking. she actually wants to stop her and say something but for some reason she doesn't know why she just stay quiet.

‘i'm sorry seulgi.’

as seulgi walks, she starts to feel tears comes out from her eyes, this is the first time ever she cries because of joohyun. she feels broken inside but at the same time she also feels great to finally say it to joohyun.

‘it's time to move on.’
