The rain.

Through the darkness of my cold bedroom,
I hear a thunder from the sky outside
-loud enough to crack the tough shell of void.
My feet immediately carry me
My mind has always love the noises,
-loud enough to shut down the voices.

I stand alone, waiting for the rain;
To hug me tight: the warmth of droplets
Working their magic, through my nerves
-easing some pain.
I stand there with a smile-the best feeling ever
-Completely alone and yet not lonely,
An euphoria my mind has craved since forever.
