1.3 "Thank You, Nolan"

A few days later. Night. 

I walked downstairs because there was this noise coming from outside. 

Me "what the hell?"

But there was no one at the door. 

I grabbed the gun from the drawer and walked over to the door. 

Then i opened it and Sammy rushed inside. 

I put the gun away and my heart melted "Sammy, what are you doing here?"

He jumped on my legs and i petted him. 

Me "hey, big boy"

Morning. 

Sammy caught the ball with his mouth and laid down. 

I sat down on the porch and he walked to me and put his head on my lap. 

I drove my hand through his fur.

Emily walked out and looked at me surprised "why are you sitting on the ground?"

Then she noticed Sammy and her face lit up "Sammy?"

Sammy looked up and ran over to her. 

She bent down and petted him "hey, Sammy. You're such a good boy"

Me "He walked in last night"

Emily "why didn't you wake me?"

Me "you're sleeping and i didn't want to wake you"

She nodded. 

Me "you know, someone's gonna have to bring him back to Jack"

She looked at me. 

Me "i saw you two talking at the party the other night."

Emily shook her head "It's nothing"

Me "Well, then bringing him back shouldn't be a problem for you"

She rolled her eyes annoyed "come with me, Sammy"

Then they walked away. 

At Grayson manor. 

I walked inside and into the foyer and saw the Graysons there with the Senator. 

Me "Mrs. Grayson, i'm so sorry i'm late"

Daniel smiled at me "hi"

Me "hi. I know you were counting on some of my ideas"

Victoria "we've already just wrapped, Miss Thorne"

Ashley smiled. 

Victoria "we managed to get it under control without you"

The Senator smiled at me "Isabella Thorne"
