the week passed by quickly well as fast as it could. days were spent like usual. rowan got ready quickly today she wore green nike shorts and a black zip up. she slid on a pair of nikes and socks and her chain. she threw her hair up in a messy ponytail. after getting her usual smoothie she headed into the school. after shaking hands with the guys she slid her arms around her girlfriend. "hey babe" she smiled kissing her cheek. "hi. how are you?" "good. you?" "great now" she said kissing rowans arm. rowan smiled at her girlfriends nice attitude. "oh hey emily" rowan said as she saw the new girl walking. "hey rowan. great practice yesterday. i'm still sore!" she giggled. rowan could feel sabrina tense up and sabrina definitely tensed when rowan let go. "haha i hope so. we gotta get in shape this year. i want another state championship" rowan smiled. "sounds great capt. i'll see ya later" "see ya" rowan smiled. sabrina turned around slowly. but she kept her calm demeanor because it kept her girlfriend happy. "hey uh who's that?" she asked. "that would be emily. she's new" rowan told her. "i'm gonna head to class wanna come?" "yeah let's go guys" sabrina grabbed rowans hand. "hey what's the move for tonight?" rowan asked as they stepped into homeroom. "well ms sanchez. i would hope it included studying" mrs rodriguez said. everyone laughed. "uh yeah you're right" rowan rubbed the back of her neck like she did when she got embarrassed. "hey. i can help you if you want?" emily offered. "she's good thanks" sabrina snarked. rowan turned and glared. "uh i might just take you up on that" rowan laughed. sabrina shook her head and took her seat. after announcements the group had study time so sabrina went to rowans desk and sat on it. while the group talked. "is anyone throwing any parties?" mason asked. "i haven't heard of any" rowan threw out. "hey. why don't we throw one?" chandler asked nudging mason. "throw one tonight? don't you think it's a little late?" "yeah maybe" sabrina was toying with rowans chain when an idea popped into her head. "hey. we should go out tonight" she suggested. "yeah?" rowan asked looking up. "yeah it'll be fun. just you and me. what do you say?" sab said. "i sayyyyy. sounds awesome. i'll see you then" rowan pecked her lips. "wait babe. you didn't give me a time" sabrina laughed. "oh right uhhh i'll see you at 7 tonight okay?" and with that she was off. sabrina laughed at her girlfriend.
"hey you." rowan said walking up to sabrina at a party. "woah rowan sanchez! you're at a party?!" sabrina pretend to be shocked. "yeah i had nothing else better to do tonight soooo" "here you are" "here i am" "should i be concerned? i mean are you stalking me?" sabrina asked in a hushed tone. "would that be so bad?" rowan flirted getting extremely upclose and personal to the girl. "uh no" she said breathless. "good" was all rowan said before connecting their lips.
sabrina thought about it a lot. rowan used to be quieter, never went to parties, never drank, she played soccer and that was it. up until last year. when she had caught the eye of none other than sabrina kay. often times sabrina worried she ruined her. once the two started dating there were expectations. rowan has to be just as popular had to make an appearance at every party alongside sabrina. sometimes she wondered if it overwhelmed the girl. she loved rowan she really did and rowan knew a side of her no one else knew. rowans seen her when's she been so drunk she can't stand up straight, she's seen her when she's studying or when she's fan girling over something no one knows she loves. rowans seen the true sabrina and she's stayed. that's what rowan loved. rowan loved the real sabrina. after school sabrina decided to stay for a few minutes with her girls and watch rowan practice. her girlfriend was hot everyone knew it. but this this was a different hot. rowan stood out on the field in a black nike sports bra and hunter green nike shorts and her cleats. the sweat making her deep tan skin glow over her many MANY muscles and dripping down towards her v-line. sabrina had to stop herself there so she wouldn't go over the edge in front of everyone. rowan felt the eyes of someone on her and turned and smiled right away at the sight of her girlfriend there. she shot her a wink before getting back to the scrimmage that was happening. sabrinas heart fluttered at the sight of the girl. she headed home to get ready for their date. she realized she had no idea what to wear and she doubted rowan would check her phone when she got home so she didn't even bother. groaning she flopped down onto her bed. she scrolled through her phone for a while before getting ready. she decided on a white romper with brown sandals. she curled her hair into beach waves and touched up her makeup. she was just about down when her doorbell rang. she was greeted with her handsome girlfriend. rowan wore black ripped jeans air force ones and a white button up. her chain popping out and her hair still slightly damp. rowan handed her a bouquet of flowers and whistled at the sight of her girlfriend. rowan leaned in and pecked her lips. "ready?" she asked rubbing her hands together. sabrina grabbed her clutch and grabbed rowans arm as rowan led her to the jeep and opened her door for her. "thanks babe" she said. after getting in rowan drove them to the other side of town. the two engaged in small conversation. mostly sabrina begging rowan to tell her where they were going but rowan kept her mouth shut. they arrived to the cool grill place that out looked the beach. rowan opened up her door for her and placed a hand on the small of her back leading her into the restaurant. "hey reservation under rowan for 2 please" rowan told them nicely. "right this way" the waitress lead the couple outside where they sat in couch like seats across from eachother. rowan pulled out her girlfriends seat for her before taking her own. "wow this place is amazing ro" she shrugged "yeah mason told me about it. figured we could try it together" she smiled. "thank you. for taking me out. i'm really excited" sabrina told her grabbing her hand. "of course. i always wanna go out with you" rowan kissed her hand before taking a look at the menu. "hi what can i get you guys to drink?" the waitress asked. "uh i'll take a water and a sprite." rowan told the waitress. "and i'll have a water and an iced tea please" sabrina asked politely. sabrina took her phone out and told rowan "smileeee" as she took a picture of the girl. rowan loved this side of the girl. the sabrina at school was cool and all but this one right her was genuine and rowan loved that. they ate and watched the sunset. when the check came rowan paid quickly and then led sabrina out of the restaurant. "thank you baby" "you're welcome" she kissed her cheek. when they got back into the car rowan leaned in and took a quick selfie with the girl. rowan kissing sabrinas cheek. she posted it on her insta story labeling it. "best date ever". on their way to an ice cream place kill the director comes on. "oh my god babe!" sabrina exclaimed turning up the volume. "IVE MET SOMEONE THAT MAKES ME FEEL SEA SICK" she belts at the top of her lungs. her smile wider than ever. rowan can't help but lean in and kiss her. her hand still gripping on her thigh. rowan pulls away to reveal both girls huge smiles. after ice cream it gets late so rowan decides to take her home. "you wanna come in and hang out for a little bit?" sabrina offered and rowan accepted. "hey sweetie- oh hey rowan" mrs kay emerges from her room. "good evening mrs. kay. i hope we didn't wake you" rowan says. "aw no you guys are fine. how was the date?" she asked the two. "i thought it was pretty fun" rowan said looking down at her girlfriend. "yeah it was great" sabrina said still making eye contact. "ahem. well that's great guys. i'm off to bed goodnight" mrs kay says and they break eye contact. "goodnight!" rowan says slightly embarrassed. "night mom. love you!" sabrina calls. she laughs. "you a little nervous there champ?" she teases. "shut up" rowan says playfully. "oh yeah?" rowan smirked. sabrina nodded but her eyes went wide when she realized what rowan was about to do. she tickled her sides and kept a strong grip on her. "ahhh oh my rowan!" sabrina shrieked. "take it back" rowan chuckled. "never- ow okay okay. you win you win" she said breathlessly. the two laughed and walked up the stairs to sabrinas room. rowan slid off her sneakers before collapsing onto her girlfriends bed. "you a little tired?" she teased. rowan rolled her eyes playfully as sabrina walked into the bathroom. her phone rang. "hello? yeah this is her? oh hi uh yeah" sabrina walked out at the sound of her girlfriend on the phone. she looked at her questionably and rowan just held a finger up signaling to give her a second. sabrina returned to the bathroom to get ready for bed and by the time she was done she slid in bed next to rowan.
