teddy smiled looking at Selena through the rearview mirror. the little green eyed girl looked out her window mouth agape. she smiled at the different stores and the people. "daddy are we almost there?" teddy nodded. how could he expect a 6 year old to be patient?
he laid a hand on kali's thigh smiling at her. he pulled into the parking lot. he got out helping his wife and child out of the car. he held onto them until they entered the bookstore.
where he lost them.
he sighed shaking his head. he watched as kali's eyes lit up as she seen books she liked, but would never buy. he went behind her putting the ones she liked in a basket. then had to do the same with selena.
he sighed as they made multiple laps around the store but he never stopped smiling. he shook his head at his two girls. he wrapped an arm around kali's shoulder kissing her temple.
"i love you." he whispered in her ear. before she could respond he had to run and scoop selena up before she could hurt herself climbing a bookshelf.
