New beginnings

Part thirteen

                This is season seven now.

It's been like a month since the wedding fiasco.
Jay jay woke me up for school. I sleep at his apartment most of the time. It's back and forth between the Gallagher's and his place.

I took a quick shower and dried my hair.
I put on a shirt and Carl's hoodie, I had to give it back to him today.
I put on some jeans and then my white converse.
Jay jay has a good job as a worlds cup salesman.

Jay jay dropped me off at school and gave me money for lunch.
"Bye I'll see you in a few days!" I said to him.
I'm gonna spend the night at the Gallagher's for a few days.

I put my bag in my locker and was greeted by Carl when I turned around.
"Hey Carl!" I smiled and kissed his cheek.
"Happy birthday!" He kissed me
"Thank you." I chuckled.
"You spending the night tonight?" He asked
"Yeah is that okay? Fiona said it was fine with her." I said
"Wanna hang out after school? I wanna take you somewhere.
"Of course!"
The bell rung.
"Walk me to class?" I smiled.
He put his hand out and of course I gladly took it.

We walked upstairs and when I walked in class my teacher stopped talking.
I said bye to Carl and he walked to class.
I sat down and she kept staring at me.
"What?" I said.
"You're late, again. That's a detention!" She said.
I rolled my eyes and one of my friends yelled something to the teacher.
"Hey! That's not fair today's her birthday!" She said
I looked at (Y/f/n) and said it was fine.
"Well maybe miss Y/n should have thought about that before she came in late. One hour of detention Y/n." The teacher said and went back to her lesson.
I rolled my eyes and got my phone out.

To: homeboy🤪
"I got an hour of detention for being late."
I texted Carl
" what a coincidence I got an hour of detention too! See you then 😉"
I smiled to myself.

Lunch

I got my food and found Carl at a table. He saw me and called me over to him.
I started to walk over to him and then Dominique "accidentally" bumped into me and got mashed potatoes all over Carl's hoodie and my pants.
"Oops!" She giggled and turned her back to me saying something to her friend.
Everyone was watching.
"Dominique I'm so done with your bullshit!" I said and she turned around.
Carl stood up knowing what I was gonna do.
I punched her.
Carl ran over to me and he took me to my locker.

"Y/n what was that?" He asked me opening his locker.
"I'm sorry! I'm just so tired of her!" I said.
I didn't tell him this but a week ago I started getting death threats from her and her friends.
Stuff saying "break up with Carl or you'll regret it!" " Carl doesn't care about you! If you got hit by a car he would laugh." "You're gonna get shot if I see you with Carl again."
I just ignored them but they're starting to get to my head.
Carl told me to take off the hoodie and he gave me another hoodie he had.
"It's fine my shirt is clean." I said

After school and detention.

Me and Carl started to walk out but then my first period teacher( the one who gave me detention in the first place)started to yell my name making us stop.
I turned around annoyed.
"Y/n! You still have another hour of detention! Without Carl." She snarled
"I already did my hour!" I said
Carl turned around and watched us.
"Well too bad you have another hour! And if Carl wants detention he can have it tomorrow!" She said
I sighed trying not to lose my temper.
"I'll see you in an hour Gallagher." I said and walked back into the classroom.
"Text me when you're on your way!" He said as my teacher closed the school doors.

At the Gallagher's

After I left the school I told Carl I was on my way.
He said something like "okay see you then."
It was kind of dark out.
I walked into the house and all the lights were off.
"Hello?" I said walking into the living room.
The lights turned on and everyone jumped up.
"Surprise!" Fiona said
"Seriously? I thought we were doing that." She said
I saw a banner, that I'm guessing Debbie made, and it said "happy birthday."
I smiled looking around at all the faces.
"Jaime was held up at work but he says happy birthday." Ian said.
I went around hugging everyone and saying thank you.
There was a cake that said happy birthday also.
It was amazing!

The next morning

Fiona went around waking everyone up.
I got dressed and waited for Carl downstairs.
When everyone was ready we went outside.
Frank kept talking but we all ignored him and walked to school.
