Our heroes arrive in Johto's own New Bark Town, Brock being back with the gang. But before the gang goes to the pokemon lab, Ash goes somewhere for a bit of training for Togepi and he meets the legendary beasts, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.
They explain how Ho-Oh talked about Ash and they decided to travel with Ash, to which he accepts.
He scans them.
[Raikou, the Thunder Pokemon.
The rain clouds it carries let it fire thunderbolts at will. They say that it descended with lightning.
This Raikou is level 85 with the Ability Inner Focus and knows the moves Discharge, Extrasensory, Roar, Spark, Crunch, Thunder Fang, Rain Dance, Calm Mind and Thunder.]
[Entei, the Volcano Pokemon.
A Pokémon that races across the land. It is said that one is born every time a new volcano appears.
This Entei is level 85 with the Ability Inner Focus and knows the moves Sacred Fire, Extrasensory, Fire Blast, Roar, Lava Plume, Fire Spin, Flamethrower, Fire Fang, Calm Mind, and Eruption.]
[Suicune, the Aurora Pokemon.
Said to be the reincarnation of north winds, it can instantly purify filthy, murky water. This Suicune is level 85 with the Ability Inner Focus and knows the moves Bubble Beam, Sheer Cold, Extrasensory, Aurora Beam, Ice Fang, Rain Dance, Calm Mind, Water Pulse, Blizzard, and Hydro Pump]
Ash pets his new pokemon and they go off to continue their patrol, to which Ash understood and didn't object to.
The gang reaches Professor Elm's lab, where they meet a Chikorita, who quickly became very fond of Ash, a Cyndaquil that is very cheeky and a Totodile that loves to dance around.
Elm asks Ash of he'll take the three pokemon, to which Ash was shocked.
"You see, I watched your tournament victories and I think these three will become good additions to your team.
I have other Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile for new trainers, so don't worry about that. These three are very special and they won't be a burden, I promise." Elm explains, Ash thinks about it and nods, taking the there's pokeballs, Chikorita's and Cyndaquil's being normal pokeballs, but Totodile's being a Lure Ball.
Ash scans them.
[Chikorita, the Leaf Pokemon.
A sweet aroma gently wafts from the leaf on its head. It is docile and loves to soak up the sun's rays. This Chikorita is level 10 with the Ability Overgrow and knows the moves Tackle, Razor Leaf, Poison Powder, Vine Whip*Egg Move*, Heal Pulse*Egg Move*, Ancient Power*Egg Move*, Grass Whistle*Egg Move*, and Leaf Storm*Egg Move*]
[Cyndaquil, the Fire Mouse Pokemon.
It is timid, and always curls itself up in a ball. If attacked, it flares up its back for protection. This Cyndaquil is level 10 with the Ability Blaze and knows the moves Tackle, Smokescreen, Flamethrower, Double-Edge *Egg Move*, Flame Burst*Egg Move*, Extrasensory *Egg Move*, Crush Claw*Egg Move, Double Kick*Egg Move*, and Flare Blitz *Egg Move*]
[Totodile, the Big Jaw Pokemon.
It is small but rough and tough. It won't hesitate to take a bite out of anything that moves. This Totodile is level 10 with the Ability Torrent and knows the moves Scratch, Water Gun, Rage, Ice Punch *Egg Move*, Thrash*Egg Move*, Metal Claw*Egg Move *, Aqua Jet*Egg Move*, Crunch *Egg Move*, Dragon Dance*Egg Move*, and Water Pulse*Egg Move*]
Ash contacts Trip, showing him Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile, Trip was clearly impressed. "Man, you gotten great pokemon already! I'm impressed! "He said, Ash nodding, they talk for a while and Ash goes outside to train his new three pokemon. The training worked wonders and finds a Heracross in the middle of a big argument with a group of Pinsir about territory, bit Ash helps out and Heracross was very grateful and joins Ash.
[Heracross, the Single Horn Pokemon.
With its Herculean powers, it can easily throw around an object that is 100 times its own weight. This Heracross is level 25 with the Ability Guts and knows the moves Bug Bite, Arm Thrust, Bullet Seed , Night Slash, Horn Attack, Aerial Ace, Counter, Fury Attack, Endure, Double-Edge*Egg Move*, Bide*Egg Move*, Rock Blast*Egg Move*, Seismic Toss *Egg Move*, Revenge*Egg Move*,and Megahorn*Egg Move*]
Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodule were now level 25. Chikorita learned Synthesis, Sunny Day, Solar Beam, Reflect, Magical Leaf, Energy Ball, Giga Drain, and Grass Pledge.
Cyndaquil learned Flame Wheel, Flame Charge, Quick Attack, Double Team, Heat Wave, and Fire Pledge.
Totodile learned Waterfall, Ice Fang, Dragon Claw, Flail, Ice Punch, Aqua Tail, and Water Pledge.
Team Rocket ambushes Ash put of no where.
"Now then, you'll pay for making the boss step down!" Meowth shouts, Ash looks annoyed.
"We know about your wager with him, now the new bosses are just super annoying!" James said and Jessie shrieks "He had Cassidy and Betch be the new bosses! CASSIDY OF ALL PEOPLE!"
"NO NO, MY NAME IS BUTCH!" A male voice was heard from a walkie talkie Jessie had, Ash covering his ears.
Jessie brought out a Lickitung and James a Victreebel, who tried to eat him.
Ash had Pkachu and Eevee use Thunder and Trump Card to make them blast off yet again.
Misty and Brock comes over, hearing the commotion. "Oh great. Those two had to be here." Misty complained.
Ash nods and the gang heads off to Cherrygrove City.
As the journey continues.
