"MAMA?" Sirine tilted her head in question.
Carson's sons were on the couch for nap time, Sirine refused to sleep.
"Yes, baby?"
"Who are the two men? They look like big meanies!"
"Have they been mean to you or your brothers?" Carson instantly asked.
'I swear if they even laid a breath on them.' Carson growled in his head, unaware that he was still connected to the bond between Matthew and Dante.
'Good job idiot! We're connected to the bond! They heard you!' Camron mentally facepalmed. His human is quite dumb.
"Carson we would never hurt the pups." Dante assures, hurt and offended that his other mate would even think of such a thing.
Matthew felt the same.
Carson felt guilty of his thoughts but he couldn't help it, he had to be cautious.
Cayden took that moment to take forward the humans form.
"Hello our dearest mates! I am so sorry for Carson's thoughts but please understand, we are much protective over our pups. They are too young to know what mates are and some of us, aka Carson, still haven't fully accepted the mate bond. I'm sorry for that as well. But, he'll come around, promise."
'Oh, shut it!' Carson snapped.
"Carson, we know you are very protective of the pups, but we would never hurt them. We are your mates. Your forever partners. They are our pups as much as they are yours." Matthew said. Camron howled with joy and Carson was feeling mixed emotions.
'Hell yeah! They accept our pups!' Camron celebrated.
"Mama?" Sirine's voice snapped Carson out of his not so secretive thoughts and forced Cayden to the back of his head.
"Yes?"
"I hungry."
'Feed the pup! Feed the pup! Feed the-' Camron started chanting.
'Shut up, Camron-'
"MAMA!"
