Tokoyami didn't like the limelight 

He never did 

It might have something to do with his quirk mutation 

Being in the spotlight never made him comfortable 

That's why he decided that when he would become a hero he wouldn't be as open to it as hero's such as all might 

He wasn't obsessed with becoming the number one hero like certain students that were his classmates 

No, he would stay in the shadows taking care of the crime within the darkness of the night 

It fitted him so perfectly 

And it was another reason why he wouldn't be auditioning to the schools yearly musical 

Hamilton 

It was a musical that had dramatic highs and lows, taking in revolution, a sex scandal, blackmail and death in a duel at the hands of the US Vice President 

(Not getting  into the whole story Incase some people want to watch it for themselves) 

And although tokoyami did enjoy all the themes it presented (except the sex) he did not want to be a part of it 

If they needed his help with instruments or lights he would offer his services 

But no, there was no way he would take part in it as an actor 

That is, that was what tokoyami had decided on before the night before casting started 

With everyone talking about Hamilton it got the songs stuck in his head 

So in the middle night due to darkshadow pestering him about how he should take part went downstairs to make himself a midnight snack 

However, a certain song got stuck within his head  and whilst chopping up some apples started singing softly 

"The story of tonight" 

His voice was like angels, low but heavenly, his words never trailing or stuttering 

He was so lost in what he was doing that he did not notice all his classmates watching his private performance

Stunned at the beauty of his voice that they could not help but stare 

Especially momo and Iida who were the casting  directors 

At that moment both of them agreed 

That found the perfect Hamilton 

Tokoyami was going to be so pleased 

That was what they thought he would be at least 

"Absolutely not" tokoyami growled, trying to keep his anger to a simmer 

The auditions hadn't even taken place 

And when tokoyami has entered the classroom he had a crowd of students staring and smiling at him 

"What are you staring at, do I have anything on my beck ?" Tokoyami had asked as he wiped any remainder of breakfast he believed was still there 

"Nope, it's something much better," Mina said mischievously

Now tokoyami was curious, he was confused at first but that comment made him intrigued 

"And that would be?" Tokoyami questioned, a bit of excitement in his voice 

"Due to a secret audition last night we decided that it would be perfect that-" momo started explaining happily before Kirishima burst out
