Genesis POV:

I didn’t realize that this pregnancy thing would be this….

“Genesis look, the lemur, he’s crying out for his mommy,” Jasmine cried waving a tissue at the TV while we where watching National Geographic.

Hilarious. Everything gets her super emotional, but I can’t help but laugh at her.

“I know mommy it’s so sad,” Bo said going over to his mother hugging her.

Her brother got the boys hooked on animals, so now we have to watch it for at least an hour a day to make sure that everyone is happy, mind you I have to wait till late hours of the night to watch games of any sort.

“Bo stop acting like a baby, it’s mommy is right there,” Jr. complained pointing to the screen. “And mommy why are you crying?”

“Because it’s sad Gen-Gen,” Bo said wrapping his arms around his mother tighter. I just sat off the side laughing at the both of them. She was in the beginning of her second trimester and it was funny aschell, she didn’t really have weird cravings she just had the appetite of a starved cow, so the meals were doubled.

“Leave your mother alone, your little brother is making her emotions act funny,” I said rubbing her stomach.

“How did he get in there?” Genesis asked.

“Well the same way you did,” I said trying to play it off.

“How’d we get in there?” Bo asked sitting up from his mother’s lap.

“Yeah, how did they get in there?” Jasmine asked smiling at me. Yeah let me do all the dirty work.

“Well you see me and your mother really wanted you guys to have another sibling so we prayed really hard to God asking him to send us a little angel baby. That’s what he did, he sent down a little angel baby, but he wasn’t ready yet, so he has to sit in your mommy for six months before he can come out,” I said using the same story my grandmother told me.

“Cool, so God sent the both of us at the same time,” Jr. said smiling.

“That’s not how it happened,” Jasmine said waving her hand, and shocking the hell outta us.

“Oh really, then how did it happen?” I asked.

“You see, your daddy really wanted mommy to have another baby, so your father went to a stalk, a bird that carries babies, and told him to give him an egg. One night while I was sleeping he put the egg in me, now it’s going to grow and grow and make mommy fat,” Jasmine said then roared at the boys scaring them.

“Daddy, why do you want mommy to be fat?” Bo asked.

“I don’t want your mother to be fat, she’s just playing with you guys. But while the baby grows in her, her stomach is going to get a lot bigger,” I explained to them.

“You must have been really big with us in your belly mommy,” Jr. said rubbing his hand over my stomach.

“You have no idea,” Jasmine said smiling at them and playing in their hair.

But when I really thought about it, I actually had no idea. I wasn’t there I wasn’t there to watch and see how big she was. I wasn’t going to let that cloud this perfect moment. It was in the past, she’s forgiven me for it and that’s all that matters. We were a complete family and things were going to go great with us and our family.

“You okay over there?” Jasmine asked sitting up.

“Be careful, you can’t sit up too quickly,” I said laying her back down slowly.
