1 - Bathhouse

"I can't believe I'm doing this for Chihiro.."

Y/n looks at the tunnel infront of her that is the supposed 'portal to the spirit world'

[2 days before this]

"Hey Y/n.." Chihiro sighs

she sits down beside you in her hotel room, Admiring her wedding dress together which was in-front of you two. Chihiro is about to be a newly wedded lady

"Yeah?"  Y/n looks at Chihiro who was still staring at her dress. 

"Remember the story I told you about I disappeared for a few months while you stuck here when we're younger?" Chihiro said softly

"Yeah, what about it?" Y/n said in a slightly curious tone, wondering why she brought it up again after such a long time.

"You have to go to spirit world yourself."

"What?! Why?!" Y/n stands up with widened eyes.

"Find Haku for me please? We made a promise that we didn't keep. Please, i can't do this without him knowing that I'm with someone else, it feels wrong.." Chihiro looks a y/n with teary eyes

y/n just looks at her with the startled look.

"Fine.." Y/n sighs. Chihiro hugs her tightly literally sobbing.

"Thank you" Chihiro sobbed.

[Back to present]

Y/n slowly walk towards the dark tunnel and the darkness slowly takes over the light. She reaches the end of the tunnel and sees a room, almost looking like a waiting area.

"Holy shit" Y/n whispers to herself as she looks around with amusement.

She gets startled by the sound of a train. She looks up front and sees a passage way.

Y/n walks up to the ray of light shining through and flinches as she feels the sudden breezy air flow through. She looks around and gasps

"Woah! wait holy shi-" Y/n gasps, covering her mouth.

She looks around knowing that it was exactly what Chihiro described to her. An open field with a few abandoned houses. She starts running around giggling to herself.

"It's so pretty!!" Y/n smiles as she proceeds to spin around and running around the field until she reached a pile of rocks with a subtle water stream.

She crosses the path and continues to wander around until she sees a town. Her eyebrows raise in amusement as she also seems to smell something appetizing. She follows the smell, curious of where it came from.

She finds the stall of food, she licks her lips and reaches to grab some food but a hands stops her.

She flinches and looks up to whoever held her hands.  It was boy around her age with black silky hair and cold eyes.

"Don't grab anything." He said sternly, staring straight into her eyes.

Y/n freezes, she totally forgot about what chihiro said about eating the food in the stalls without permission.

"What are you doing here? It's dangerous!!" The boy asked with a cold tone dragging her along with him .

Y/n looks behind her and saw that it's almost sundown.

"Oh fuck how long have I been here?"  Y/n whispers to herself.

She looks up at the boy who was holding her hand. This guy seemed familiar but she couldn't put a finger on it.

"Haku! you're haku"  y/n gasps.

Haku's head snaps to y/n, his eyes widened "h-how did you-" Haku stops his tracks.

The lights start glowing, he shakes his head "Save the explanation. There's no time"

He sprints to the bathhouse and slows down once they reached the bridge.

"Hold onto me and don't breathe" Haku says, straightening his posture and looking up front.

y/n clings onto haku's arm holding her breath. y/n looks around to see different monsters that we're more hideous looking than she imagined. Some looked decent and some looked questionable.

"We made it through you can breathe now"  Haku faces y/n as she gasps for air.

Haku reaches for his pocket and pulls out a red round marble like thing and tells y/n to eat it or else she'll disappear. Haku watches y/n as she struggles to swallow it.

"Follow me" haku said as she led her to the back of the bathhouse and places her by a bush.

"okay,i'm gonna have to leave you her-"

"Haku,, can't you just stay? I'm scared" y/n grabs haku's arm.

Haku freezes, everything is so familiar. Everything was almost like chihiro. Haku never moved on from chihiro. He loved her and the fact the they never got see each other even after the promise never left him.

"Haku?" y/n pulls his arm. Haku snaps back to reality.

"If I stay they're gonna notice that you're here. Go find kamaji. Ask him about yubaba he'll give you all the help. When you reach yubaba ask her for a job and that's all you need to say nothing else, i'm a friend...remember that.." The volume of of haku's voice goes low by the last part.

It was alot for him to take. He misses chihiro so much and he can't move on. y/n notices the distraught look on haru's face.

She pouts knowing it's probably about chihiro.

"Okay see you around haku" y/n says flashing a comforting smile.

Haku looks up at y/n, his heart flattered a little at the smile the y/n gave him. He smiles back

"See you around" Haku walks away and goes in the sliding glass entrance to the bathhouse.
