My feelings are getting harder to express,
I feel that I'm unable to manage my stress.
My heart feels heavy and my body is weak,
It's getting harder to get through the week.
My energy is drained, I just want to sleep,
My soul I no longer really want to keep.
I thought I would be fine along the way,
But these sad feelings are here to stay.
My heart is in love with this sadness,
My mind does not accept this madness.
My heart let sadness in with open arms,
My mind noticed and set off the alarms.
Like Juliet, I want to stab my heart,
Or tear it out and shatter it apart.
