Keith's P.O.V
The rest of the ride home was quiet.As soon as the bus dropped me off a mile away from Shiro's place,I made fast work to get there.I Quickly step up the steps and jiggle the doorknob before stepping inside.
"COLE!?I'M HOME!"I call out while scrambling my shoes off at the door.
A few pauses later and I hear a holler back at me.
"I'M IN THE LIVING ROOM!WITH ALLURA!"He calls back.
Ugh,I internally groan at the name of Allura.My brothers girlfriend(Demon).Allura just a bit taller than me BUT only because she wears heels twenty four-seven.Now Allura I'm fine with in fact I would gladly welcome her into the family it's just this thing with her and her--
"OH KEITHH~!"A frilly voice squeals.I stop dead in my tracks.
That thing I was talking about was Allura's sister Romelle.Allura has a heavy scented accent going on,but oh my god her sister!I can't stand her.Romelle is surprisingly shorter than me and always wears her blonde hair in pigtails.I put my best fake smile on and turn to her which is a total mistake.
"Hey Romelle!"I squeak out.Romelle wore a bright hot pink vest with blue sleeves,and blue yoga pants?I think there yoga pants but I don't have much for fashion.
"So keithy I was thinking maybe we should-!"I cut her off.I gave her a quick smile and placed my hands on her shoulders.
Profusely shaking my head I quickly add "Sorry can't,gotta go homework's calling me,LATER ROMELLE!"After I take my hands off her shoulders,I zoom up the stairs and slam my door.Honestly could she get even more annoying.She honestly can't take a hint and Quiznak off.While trying to get Romelle's crush obsession with me off my mind I pick my bag up and rummage through it.
"Well this homework won't finish itself I guess"I sigh.
Hour by hour I slowly start to tackle every subject to get done by tomorrow.
' Finally,all done'I thought to myself.
I turn my head to look at the clock.'
'9:00 P.M'It read.
"Damn"I huffed out.
I should probably head to bed,I dive right into my covers and just stare at the ceiling.Ugh I hate this feeling,I start counting the light up stars I have on my ceiling and drift off...
1 hour later
I jerk forward as soon as I hear a light jingle noise from around my room.After realizing I'm still at home,I groan and flop back down into my pillow.After a few minutes though I look at the nightstand and see my phone having an incoming call.
"This better be worth it"I huff.
"Hello?"I answered clearly sounding pissed.
"Oh-!Uhm I'm so sorry I just wanted to see if this was Keith...?"The other line shyly responded.
After a few pauses I hear shuffling on the other end and a brief hello to still see if I'm on the line.
"Yea this is him,who the hell wants to know?"I groggily reply back.This caught the attention of the other off guard.
"Oh-Jeez!Sorry Keith did I wake you?I didn't mean to-OH!wait this is Lance by the way.Heh"He rambles on and on at this point while I try to wrap my head around this.
I jump forward again eyes wide,and stumbling out of bed closing my door so no one hears my conversation.
"OH!hey Lance sorry I didn't know it was you and no worries I wasn't sleeping I just always sound like I woke up.Anyways what's up?"I smoothly reply(not really)
I hear stifled laughter coming from the other line before a reply comes.My god that laugh-So cute
"Well nothing I just saw the note you left,and just decided to check in.Don't worry I won't forget to come by tomorrow Cariño."Lance flirtatiously talks.I know I couldn't see it but I knew he was smirking on the other line.
"Oh yea...that Aha,Well goodnight Lance and see you tomorrow.I have classes to get to by tomorrow so I'll see you in the afternoon"I nervously chuckle.
"Goodnight Cariño,and sleep tight,I will be seeing you tomorrow."He calls back.
I ended up hanging up and just stared down at my phone blushing ...
''UGH!WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME"I muffled as I face-plant into my pillow.This boy is doing things to me that I don't appreciate...I huff in annoyance thinking back at lances cute dimples every time he smiles,and his freckles,and his smooth skin.All my thoughts are cut off though as I see Shiro walk in.
"Keith go to bed,we have school tomorrow.I will kick your quiznak if you don't wake up on time.Also dude are you getting a fever you're redder than a drunken pirate?"Shiro asks concerned.He sits down on my bed and leans his hand out to put on my forehead but I pull back embarrassed.
"I'M PERFECTLY FINE,PLEASE GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM 'DAD'"I screech making my voice crack.Shiro looks at me concerned but drops it,but not without bursting into laughter from my little uhm 'puberty moment'.He quickly wishes me a good night and shuffles off to his room.I swear Shiro is such a dad sometimes,anyways I turned to my side looking at the moon.
'Please be there tomorrow Lance.I uhm...Ugh really wanna hang out more..' No way would I ever let Lance know that though.I just miss his...cheesy lines!YEA that's it!While quickly counting my stars again I drift off again into child like dreams...
'Goodnight Lance..' I speak into my mind...before drifting into sleep
