Maya woke up around 2 in the morning when her son started crying. She looked over at him and gently picked him up. Kai kept crying. Maya new what was wrong with him and smiled softly. She turned over on her side and fed him. After about 30 minutes he fell back to sleep. She sighed softly and went back to sleep as well.
*next day*
Maya woke up and gently got out of bed so she wouldn't wake up her son. She walked into the living room and watched tv.
Kai woke up eventually and walked into the living room with his mother. She smiled softly at him. He climbed into the couch and sat beside his mother.
"Mickey mouse"
"You want to watch Mickey Mouse?"
"YEAH!"
*laughs* "alright"
She put Mickey Mouse on the tv and they watched it.
All. Afternoon. And he would cry if she turned it off.
