I am playing a very risky game.

I smiled.

The patient smiled.

" Maraming salamat Doc. I guess I also really need to take good care of my health" She implied. I smiled.

The patient went home. Ako naman ay masaya dahil mabilis na nakarecover ang pasyente pagkatapos ng kaniyang operasyon. I made sure she knows what she needs to do and what not to do. Sanay kase akong ako mismo ang nagsasabi nunsa pasyente. Many times, nurses do it but In my part, I wanted to do it for my patient.

It took me three hours to finish my rounds. Mula coronary ward ay pumunta pa ako sa ICU at sa Pedia ward para mga batang pasyente ko rin na may sakit sa puso.

Nang pumunta ako sa neuroward ay naabutan ko si Ibarra na kausap na naman iyung mga nurses dun. Nakikipaglandian for short.

" Hi Baby!" Shit PDA si Doc!

" Goodmorning Doctora" Bati sa akin nung nurses. Nginitian ko silang lahat at hindi na binalingan si Ibarra kahit na alam kong nakatingin siya sa akin.

" Iyung chart ni patient C. Lopez" Wika ko sa magandang nurse. Agad naman niyang kinuha iyung chart at binigay sa akin.

How I wish wala akong pasyente na nakaconfine sa neuroward pero buwisit kase 'tong si Ibarra, inindorse ba naman kase sa akin iyung isa niyang pasyente na may sakit rin sa puso.
