Chapter 9

*Lovino's POV*

I can't believe I kissed him, why would I do that? I barely know him so why would I kiss him? Even worse I don't remember doing it, but it explains why he was acting strange. It doesn't validate it though.

"Well while you're here, we might as well work on the project." I say and get up to get my backpack, he flops down on my bed

"Nooooo~" he whines

"You're the one who came over here." I say as I pull out my binder

"Because you were mad at me~! Not because I wanted to work on the project~!" he says and I throw my binder on his stomach

"Then think of this as payback for being an asshole." I say and he sits up

"Hey~! I am not an asshole~!" he says

"Whatever helps you sleep at night." I say and he gasps

"Take it back~"

"I'm not gonna take back something that is true." I say and he looks at me for a second

"Are you ticklish~?" he asks and I furrow my eyebrows

"Why?" I ask

"For science~"

"No if it were for science you would be doing our project." I say

"Don't say I didn't warn you~" he says and lunges at me. He begins tickling me fiercely, I can't help but laugh. I am extremely ticklish which makes him laugh

"S-Stop!" I say

"Not until you take it back~!"

"N-Never!" I say and I begin squirming but he doesn't let up "Fine! I-I take it back!" I say and he stops, we keep laughing for a bit but when we stop he is practically on top of me

"You have a nice laugh~ you should laugh more~" he whispered to me and I feel my cheeks heat up

"Thanks." I whisper back and he just stares at me, and I stare back. After a bit of silence and staring at each other he gets off of me

"So our project~"

"Yep." I say sitting up, he opened my binder and pulled out the sheet.

The rest of the night went normal, I made us dinner while we worked. He didn't leave my house until about 9:00 but once he was about to leave I had a question
