Chapter 28

*Lovino's POV*

I can't believe the situation I'm in right now, I thought today would be normal but its like I have a bounty on me. Antonio followed me around this morning and now he's at my table? And I have to deal with him for the entirety of sixth period. A thorn in my side.

I sit with my face buried in my arms, trying to get my face to cool down, hopefully the others didn't notice. I can't believe he actually answered the question, instead of just giving some bullshit answer. At least it didn't sound like it was about me, but for him to admit to others I'm the one he likes in any fashion, am I ready for that? Am I ready for feelings like this?

When the bell rings I quickly get up and leave, hoping Antonio won't chase after me. Luckily, he doesn't and I walk to fifth period in peace. Once fifth period end I walk to sixth period hoping we won't be working on the project today so that way I won't have to interact with Antonio.

"Alright, today is a project work day. Get to it."

The world is against me today.

Antonio makes his way towards me, "Hola~"

"Why did you answer the question?" I ask immediately "Better yet why did you sit at my table?" I ask

"I told you I wanted to meet your friends~" he says and smiles "Why did I embarrass you~?" he asks and run his fingers ghostly across my arm. I jerk my arm away, and cross my arms.

I hate how my skin feels like it's on fire when he touches it, how he can take my breath away by whispering in my ear, how all he has to do is wink at me and I blush, I hate how my heart races for him, and I hate him.

"I only told the truth Lovino~ would you have liked for me to lie~?" he says

"I would've liked for you to not have sat there in the first place." I say and get the materials for the project out of my binder. I grip the pencil in my hand and start writing.

"Your friends seem nice~ especially Faith~" he says and I nod "Kindergarten boyfriend huh~?" he says and I nod again "You two seem close~" he says, I look at him. He has his pencil in his hands rolling it between in fingers. Watching it move between his fingers.

"Are....Are you jealous?" I say and the pencil stops

"No~" he says and I can't help but laugh, he looks at me

"You're really bad at lying." I say and go back to writing, I feel his foot brush up against mine and I shoot him a look. "Look at where we are, stop it."

"I didn't do anything~" he says innocently, I roll my eyes

"We need to finish this project, don't try to distract me."

"I'll come over then~"
