Chapter 32

Later when Mia reached the hotel room, Ashley was anxiously waiting for her.

"Ahhhhh!!!! I had a nervous breakdown. How could you carelessly lose the name tag? Your life was in the line", said Ashley.

"Yeah, you are right !!!!! I should have been more careful. It must have been burdensome for everyone", said Mia apologetically.

"Okay just leave behind what already happened, how do you feel right now? Are you hurt? You sure look weary and ready to drop", said Ashley.

"Let's see. Now that I think about it; my entire body is aching. I have a few scratches here and there. But nothing too serious. I just need a hot shower and good food", said Mia with a smile.

"Glad to hear that. I will go get you something to eat. Meet with the guys and thank them in the morning. They were so worried about you, especially you know who", said Ashley teasingly and left the room.

The door was left open and Mia went off to take a shower. Later, while she was looking at her scratches in the mirror, she thought to herself,

"I guess the physical wounds hurt less when you don't have any regrets in your mind."

While she was lost in thoughts, suddenly someone came from behind and tapped her on the shoulders. An instinctive fear made her guard up and react involuntarily. Mia threw the person off her shoulders and the next scene had Mia on top of Jungkook.

"Whatttttt?????? It's you!!!!!!", asked Mia in surprise, grabbing his collar.

"You got some nice moves", said Jungkook smilingly while lying down flat on the ground.

"Ahhhhhhh!!!! I should be crazy. I am so sorry. I didn't mean to....... I was just shocked", said Mia apologetically.

"Actually I am the one who is shocked. It's the first time someone is throwing me to the ground. But why did you learn Taekwondo?", asked Jungkook.

"Self-protection and to feed my buzzing mind. I learned it during the past two years ", said Mia staring into his eyes.

"I should say this, you are pretty spontaneous and precise. You could have easily got off from the people's arms. Why didn't you do that?", asked Jungkook.

"I didn't want to run away by using force. I also knew that those people were doing all this out of genuine concern for guys", said Mia.

"How could you not think about yourself? ", asked Jungkook angrily.

"Because two years ago, you did the same for me", said Mia.

An abrupt silence filled up the room and while Mia was about to get off from the ground, Ashley came in with the food. Upon seeing them on top of each other she covered her mouth and stopped abruptly at the doorstep.

Mia got up embarrassingly and said,
"Ash!!!!!! It's not what you think it is", said Mia and walked forward to talk to her.

Meanwhile, Jungkook was still lying down comfortably, enjoying the situation.

"I didn't know you guys progressed so quickly. You should have at least texted me that he will be coming", said Ashley.

"Seriously you should be out of your mind", said Mia in disbelief.

"Mia!!!!! It's okay to be straightforward about your feelings and proceed faster. As your best friend I support you both unconditionally", said Ashley by winking and showing a thumbs up.

"OMG!!!!!! Are you filming a drama right now? Ask Jungkook and he will tell you the truth", said Mia and turned her eyes towards Jungkook.

"I came to the room and the next moment I was on the floor and she was on top of me", said Jungkook with a sly smile.

"Jungkook-ah, just tell her the details. It's not an acrostic poem to end it in one sentence", said Mia.

"Why are you compelling him? All jokes aside, Mia, you should take my advice on this. You should have some privacy in your relationship", said Ashley seriously.

"Ahhhhhh!!! How did you turn out to be this hopeless? You both are killing me. Just let me explain one last time", said Mia and started clarifying the events.

"Blah!!!!! Blah!!!!! Blah!!!!!!!", yelled Ashley covering her ears.

"I don't want to hear anything. I am just keeping the food here and going. I will be back in an hour. You both better calm yourself by then", said Ashley and ran out of the room smilingly.

"Look what you have done", said Mia to Jungkook.

"I missed our gang so much", said Jungkook.

Upon hearing that, Mia calmed down and looked away from him in silence.

"You should go back to your room", said Mia in a soft voice.

"I am not going anywhere. Let me see where you got the scratches", said Jungkook and pulled her closer to him.

Her heart raced and there was a pit in her stomach as the butterflies flew fast in circles. Slowly she placed her  hand on her chest and yelled out in pain,

"Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! It's beating so fast. I can't breathe."

"Miaaaaa... What...What is happening?", asked Jungkook anxiously.

"Just go. Hurryyyyyyy", said Mia loudly.

"JUST GO", repeated Jungkook in panic and dashed out of the room.
As he stepped out of the room, Mia ran behind him and closed the door. Jungkook stopped abruptly when he saw the door shut behind him.

"Wait a minute. What was I even thinking when she asked me to go?", Jungkook thought to himself.

He then turned around and started knocking on the door.

"You seriously fooled me and locked me out of the room????", asked Jungkook.

"Sorry.....Sorry.....Sorry. I didn't mean to. But it's already late at night. You should get back to your room and rest. There is a concert tomorrow", said Mia from the other side of the door.

"Are you practicing any spells to lighten the burden of others?", asked Jungkook.

"That's what personal assistants do, they are true magicians", said Mia coolly.

"Okay!!!!!!! I give up,  you got me this time but on one condition. You should be fine by tomorrow. Otherwise, I will come back and heal you with my magic.......", said Jungkook abruptly.

"Good idea!!!!! But let's save it for later. Now just go back and sleep", said Mia overlapping his conversation. 

Later, while she was on the bed, Jungkook's words kept chanting all over her head. Finally, she started to doze off as her mind ran through her memories.
