Today was the day Zelda decided she would tell Link how she felt about him.
Today was the day Link decided he would tell Zelda now she felt about him.
She saw him in the hallway ready for their morning walk. S(he) was very cheerful this morning. "My lady" Link teased her with a fancy voice. "Oh my, why yes" Zelda laughed a little trying to have the best stuck up voice. Link took her hand and kissed it and Zelda blushed. Link held his arm out and Zelda took it and made a snooty face. "Why thank you my good sir." Link took a bow and they linked arms. They immediately started laughing at the funny scene. "Imagine if I had to act snoody all the time." The pair chuckled and started walking through the halls. Zelda grabbed Links arm making him grunt in surprise. She turned around to shh him and chuckled. Link obeyed and let the princess lead him outside to the gardens. "Isn't it lovely!" "Yes" Link looked around at all the shrubs and bushes and flowers. There was a fountain in the middle with a girl resembling the goddess Hylia. The pair sat down. Zelda leaned into Link and they stared at the clouds going by admiring their shapes and sizes. "Link" "Zelda" they chuckled at saying their names at the same time. "You go first Link" "Ok." Link took a breath and pushed Zeldas hair behind her ear. "I really like you...a lot actually" Zelda nearly jumped in surprise which made Link worry. Suddenly her eyes grew big and a smile as big as death mountain came across her face. She got closer and said "me too!!" "Well that's a relief." Link was caught off guard when Zelda went in for a kiss. She pulled out seeing his surprised look. "I'm so sorry I didn't mean." She was cut off by Link pulling her back in for a kiss. He fell back into the grass letting Zelda get on top of him. She ruffled his hair and continued kissing. All Link could think about was how soft her kind lips were. So inviting yet sweet and soft. When the pair came out for a breath they just stared at a each other, Link smiling wide and Zelda squealing with joy. Link quickly sat up grabbing Zelda and twirling her around. She laughed with glee as the sun hit her golden locks just right. He put her down and the pair locked eyes again knowing that it just felt right. They held hands and walked around the garden for a while.
-LATER THAT NIGHT-
Zelda was in her room when suddenly she heard a knock at the door. She opened to realize it was Link. "Can I come in?" "Obviously" Zelda shut the door behind him. "Thank you." He said, Zelda stared at him for a minute before he continued . "For earlier... I really like you and..." "and I'd like to make this a thing" Zelda budded in cutting Link off, "that's what I was going to say!" The two laughed and agreed going in for another kiss. "Wanna sleep in here tonight?" This was odd of the princess to ask Link all of a sudden but he agreed. They got into her big bed and fell fast asleep holding hands, ready for their new beginning to start on their trip tomorrow.
