Birthday-part 2

After hours of walking they had made it. It was still dark so they decided to sent up a small tent and sleep for a little bit. Fireflies danced around them and the moon shown bright. Link sat down and leaned against a tree and patted the ground to invite Zelda to sit next to him. She walked over and sat down leaning into his shoulder. She closed her eyes with a sigh hoping tomorrow this would work. It had to work or else the world would be doomed. "The champions will meet us here at the gate tomorrow" Zelda told Link.

The next morning

Link and Zelda walked up to the spring. It was cold, Zelda hugged herself wading into the water. As usual Link turned around and kept guard. Zelda said a few prayers before crying a little as nothing had happen. After they turned around and walked back down to greet the champions. Zelda was nearly in tears after telling them it didn't work then suddenly the ground shook. Revali flied up, in shock seeing the red blood like malic creatures swarming the castle. "It's here" he said as every gasped. "Get to your champions" said urbosa. And they all ran off as fast as they could. Link and Zelda were left alone. "Happy birthday to me I guess" she said to herself as she ran to link who hugged her. "We have to get going" "I don't want too" "we have too zelda" "but I'll lose you" "if we don't fight you will" "Link I love you" "I love you too Zelda, now we have to go" he said taking Zeldas hand and hoping on their horses to go down the mountain.
Link and Zelda had to go on foot since the horses couldn't we've through the trees. Link and Zelda could hear guardians in the distance. They stopped for a minute to catch their breath. "I'm sorry" She said to Link, "it's okay we just have to get through this" "I know" and with that Link and Zelda started to run again as fast as they can until Zelda slipped in the mud.
