Chapter 4

Jalen Green

I was waiting for Jaden to come out of her 8th hour class but turns out she went home early. She had got into a fight with Alicia. I don't really know the story, but I feel like Jaden wouldn't have started it. There wasn't any open gym today because the cheerleaders had to us it for practice. They don't even have "practice". I was walking down the hall and I spotted Eric.

"Hey bro, you know where Jaden's at" I asked

"She got in a fight and her mom came and picked her up. I don't want you talking or hanging out with her. Leave her alone." He said nudging me as he walked by

"Man, I don't know what you're problem is but I believe she can talk to whoever she wants. You scared that ima take her away from you the exact same way you took Madysen?" I said walking back up to him

"Did you tell her" he said confused

"Yeah I told her, she asked why we weren't cool." I said

"Damn bro alright" he said and just walked away looking mad

I bet this nigga lied to her.

"Yooo lets go to LA Fitness?" I heard josh yell knowing it was towards me

"Nah not today I need to go see if Jaden's cool" I said walking to my first hour

I need to find out where Jaden lives that's why I'm going to my first hour to see if he'll be nice enough to give me her address. I don't think he wont but its better to try. I walked in the classroom scared as hell. Is this legal? I thought making myself laugh

"Hey Mr. Do you think you could give me Jaden's address? I need to bring her papers considering she left school early, but she forgot to give me her address and I don't have her number" I said lying hopefully he would give me it

"Yes, I usually wouldn't but I saw what you did for her today, so I believe you won't go over there and murder her" he said with a smile

He gave me her address and I fast walked to my car and drove to the store. I grabbed a big bag of hot Cheetos some chocolate goldfish and starburst. I don't know what she likes when she's on her period, but she got to like one of these right? I paid for the stuff and I made my way to her house

I was so nervous hoping that her parents weren't home. I didn't want to meet them like this. I knocked and after 2 or 3 minutes I rang the doorbell. After I was just gonna walk back to my car but then I decided to text her.

Me: Hey open the door please

I then heard the doors locks.

"Hey sorry for coming unannounced, I heard about what happened and I wanted you to bring you some snack. I don't really know what you like while you're on your you know what, so I just got a variety of things." I said handing her the stuff

"Awe thank you Jalen. You can stay if you would like" She said opening the door a little

"Wait you're not a vampire, are you? Like I don't have to actually invite you in" she said closing the door back a little

"No girl I'm not no damn vampire." I said laughing

"I'm just kidding, you may enter Green" she said opening the door all the way

We went upstairs to her room and I just sat on her bed

"You can get comfortable my mom has a late shift today at the hospital so if you want you can spend the night. I'm not going to school tomorrow" she said opening the hot Cheetos
