I opened my eyes when I heard the doorbell ring. I slowly sat up and rubbed my eyes. I noticed that the sun was already shining through my curtains. What time was it?

I got up with a sigh. I only wore sweatpants, but I was also too tired to grab a T-shirt. So I just went to the front door and opened it. I narrowed my eyes and held my hand up to the light. It only took me a few seconds to get used to the light.

As soon as I could see normally again, I saw Camille standing by my door. Wait what? She grinned at me.

"Did you sleep? It's 3pm." she noticed. So it was that late. "What do you have on your chest?" she asked in shock. I looked down. Oh yes, my scratches. I immediately remembered last night.

"What are you doing here?" I asked first, because she was supposed to be in the psychiatric ward. She smiled.

"I was finally released today and I thought I would come to see you immediately." She said. I grinned and hugged her.

"That's great!" I meant. Now we were both outside again. I really hoped she'd make it this time. It would be terrible for both of us if she had to go back. "How did you even know where I live?" I asked confused. I stepped aside and let her in.

"I asked Alice." She said. That made sense. She got rid of her shoes and continued to come in. She immediately settled on my sofa as if it were the most normal in the world, but I didn't mind either.

"Would you like to drink or eat something?" I asked. She nodded. "Should we order pizza?" I asked and she nodded again with a smile.

"So I see you survived." She said. I nodded. Seems so. "But it hurt you." she said and pointed to my scratches. I nodded. "It looks like it's weeks old." She said.

"That was Magnus." I admitted.

"So you met him." she said and I nodded. "And what? He healed you or how?" she asked jokingly but I nodded slowly. Her eyes grew serious.

"Listen, what I'm about to tell you sounds crazy, but it does explain a few things." I meant. She nodded. "Magnus is out of our world. He comes from the downworld and he cannot leave the forest very far. He uses magic, Cami." I explained. She frowned.

"That sounds crazy, but I believe you." she answered. I took a deep breath. "Did he tell you that he uses magic?" she asked.

"I saw it myself when he was fighting the being." I admitted. "It was rays of light that came from his hands." I explained. She frowned.

"Crazy." She said. I nodded. Yes it was. "What were you talking about?" she asked. I sat next to her. The memory was beautiful, but it still hurt.

"He told me that he loves me." I admitted and I saw her eyes wane. "And we kissed." I said and instinctively I touched my lips.

"But that's good." Camille noted. I shrugged.

"No, because I don't know how to get him out of this downworld." I let her know. "I'm just scared to never see him again, you understand?" I asked and she nodded.

"We'll find out." I meant. "What about this thing?" she asked.

"That came from the downworld. We killed it, but it attacked me." I explained. She nodded.

"Did it hurt?" she asked. Oh and how much it did.

"Yes, but I had enough adrenaline." I meant. "It didn't hurt until this creature was dead." I added. She nodded.

"What are you going to do now?" she asked. I shrugged my shoulders.

"I think I'll try to find out something on the Internet first." I meant. She grinned.

"So you think you'll find out on the Internet how to get a magical friend from another world?" she asked with a grin. I rolled my eyes.

"Not exactly, but maybe there are some legends that could help me." I explained. "Apparently all legends are true." I added. She smiled and pulled her cell phone out of her pocket. "What are you doing?" I asked.

"Well, I'll see what I can find. Maybe you should do that too." She said. I smiled. I was happy to have her. I could only trust her on this point. The others would have immediately declared me crazy, as well as back then. I can't blame them, but I also can't risk that they stand in my way.

I grabbed my laptop and started researching the internet. In between the pizza arrived and we ate it together. It was really hard to get information, but I found something. Unfortunately nothing helpful.

I actually found out something about the underworld. It was an ancient legend. All beings lived there, such as vampires, werewolves, seelies, warlocks or even mixtures. So Magnus was a warlock.

"Do you have something?" asked Camille. I shook my head and stroked my full stomach.

"No, nothing that helps us. Just general information about the downworld." I said. "Lilith, the mother of all demons. Asmodeous, the most powerful warlock in the whole downworld, Jonathan Morgenstern, dangerous mixture of angel and demon. What should that bring me?" I asked.

"I do not know either." Camille said frustrated. "How about the library?" she asked. I nodded. I had no choice. I have to get him out somehow. I just need him.
