ander had texted y/n, saying that he was going to pick her up from her place, 2 o clock sharp. All she brought in her bag was the needed "studying items." what she was wearing was simple, she really didn't put too much thought into it since they were just going to be at his house anyway. she was cuddling with her dog before she heard a knock on the door. immediately, jay started barking at the person he thought was an intruder, but she silenced him with a single command and opened the door to be met face to face with ander, who was grinning at her.

"hola," he said, stepping in when she opened her door more.

"lemme get my bag real quick," she pecked his cheek before she left the room to go back to her own bedroom. so he took a seat on one of the cushioned chairs, relaxing into it as jay pawed at his lap. he began to humor the dog, playing with him before he heard her bedroom door shut.

when looked up, she was standing there with a soft smile on her face, some sort of comfort filling her to see her dog become accustomed to her boyfriend already.

"you wanna go on a date with jay?" she asked as she walked to the sitting boy. she stood behind the chair, wrapping her arms around his neck as she leaned down. "you ready?"

he nodded his head, rubbing behind jay's ears one more time before standing up and turning to the girl. his heart fluttered seeing her look up at him with her doe eyes. so he sneaked his arms around her waist, bringing her into a soft kiss. both of them smiling before pulling away from each other.

"vamanos," he said and they both took their leave, her calling out to jay for him to behave and guard the place.

ander had taken his car, opening the door for her before moving to his side. the drive was only about 20 minutes long, the whole time his hand resting on her thigh, not inching anymore forward than he thought would be uncomfortable for her. the time that was spent in the car was filled with laughter and casual takl, both of them conversing as they normally would.

"do your parents know that we are...a thing?"

ander stayed silent for a moment before answering, "i don't wanna move too fast," he said carefully and she had to hold in the sigh of relief, "we only started this last week, i don't want to scare you by introducing you to my parents so soon."

when they got to a stop light, he looked at her to carefully examine her reaction.

"thank god," she said softly, turning to him with a sincere smile, "don't take that the wrong way, carino. i want to take this slow too, meeting your parents now would make me a nervous wreck."

"so to my parents," he said slowly, "you're my friend and tutoring me,"

"si," she said with a small smile.

soon enough, they were pulling up to the driveway of the house. she smiled softly at the normality of it. marina's house was grand - too many rooms to count and more than 3 floors. another reason she was reminded that ander was different from the rest.

he took her through the front door, calling out to his parents that he was home, "mom, dad," he said softly, kissing their cheeks in greeting, "this is y/n, she's my friend is gonna tutor me,"
