29 | Hide and Seek

I hide
behind the walls.
It is dark
and a little cold.

Will they miss me,
now I am gone?
Do I mean anything
to anyone?

I am hidden;
they can't see me.
I am invisible,
never to be seen.

Come and find me,
come search me out.
Come on, I dare you,
come on, now!

Find me,
search for me,
Look where I am?
Can you even see?

Or maybe you
don't want to find me?
Maybe you don't care?
Just look and see...

I'm waiting
1, 2, 3...

Author's note:

Once again, this poem uses
a mixture of half-rhyme and
full-rhyme!

Hide and seek was one of my favourite
games growing up. What was yours?
