"HAPPY HEARTS DAY, JEAN!"Yan ang unang pambungad sakin ni Pearl ngayong araw. Seriously.

If you're asking, nope, I'm not bitter towards the day they all dedicated for couples, I just couldn't care less, you know?Because obviously, I'm a single person. Am I supposed to give a damn about this day? Nope.That would be weird.This is just a normal day, for people like me.

"Happy hearts day din, Pearl!" I replied back with sarcasm, she obviously noticed it. "Bitter much?Okay lang yan, parehas naman tayo walang jowa."She sneered.

I scoffed."Pero may kalandian ngayon!"

Lumaki naman agad mata niya."Hoy!Akala mo ako lang, may mga kalandian ka din!Madami kasi naghahabol sayo,last week nga andami nanamang nagchachat sayo, gusto ata makascore ng date ngayon."She said.

Well, it's true. Hindi sa pagmamayabang, but Pearl and I has bunch of guys trying to flirt with us. But she now has a suitor that she is considering at the moment, I know that even though ayaw niya aminin, while ako ay landi lang talaga.

"So?Where to?"Tanong ni Pearl.Right.Because we are non committed people, we decided to date each other. Wala na kaming pakealam sa tingin ng mga tao, and hey, who said friends couldn't date and have fun at february 14?Whoever did,we'll prove them wrong.

"Hmm ano ba magandang gawin ngayon..."I said as Pearl and I walked outside our school.It's actually our foundation day today and this usually last for a couple of days, and during times like this we are allowed to go outside the school premises.

Since hindi naman kami busy sa pagmamanage ng foundation, wala kaming masyadong ginagawa, pumasok nalang kami ni Pearl para magattendance, afterwards we decided to go on with our date.

As I thought of what we would do, I saw the line of food stalls that opens during the afternoon, which we still normally couldn't try dahil 9 pm ang labas namin at rush hour pa yon, kaya diretso uwi kami.

As I saw those stalls and the crowd that they are attracting, I immediately turned to Pearl and catch her turn to me the same time I did. Looks like we have the same idea.

"FOODTRIP!"Yep, we did as we both say it at the same time.Wala ni isa samin ang umalinlangan at sabik kami parehas na nagtungo sa mga food stalls.

"Hay..."Sambit ni Pearl habang humalumbaba kami parehas sa upuan.

Currently, we are at a cafe.This is our last stop for today, matapos namin kainin lahat ng pagkain na naspot ng mga mata namin. We also bought things for each other, like couple hats, flowers and even wrote small, sweet letters para sa isa't isa. At first we thought it was hilarious, sabi pa ni Pearl baka isipin ng mga tao na lesbian couple kami dahil sa mga pinagagawa namin, but who cares, we bought and did those things for each other and to be honest?It was cute and sweet!

"Busog na ko."Dagdag ni Pearl.I nodded repeatedly to tell her I couldn't agree more."Same."
