Tahimik lang ako habang tumatawa tawa si Pearl kasabay ng mga lalaki na kasama namin.What is she doing?Why is she even engaging with this people?

Bwisit. Hanggang kailan ako magaantay ng tsansa na makatakas kami?

Bigla naman ako napasulyap kay Nax. Tahimik parin siya na nanonood sa bintana, not giving a single damn to what's happening around him. I never knew he was a guy like this! Guess you really shouldn't judge a book by it's covers. Curse you, Nax. I don't acknowledge you as our classmate anymore, and I never will! Hintayin mo lang na makalabas kami ni Pearl dito!

Kainis lang, though, it seemed like we were on the road for hours, kinakabahan na nga ako dahil paunti na ng paunti ang mga buildings and establishments na nadadaanan namin. This is really not good. We have to escape before they leave the city. Hindi ba sila hihinto or magstostop over manlang?!

But, just like a miracle, my prayers were suddenly answered. They suddenly pulled to a stop in front of what seemed like a drive thru fast food franchise.

"Yon, kakain na ba tayo?"Tanong ng isa sa mga kasama namin.

"Ulol, KKB to ah!"Sagot uli nung leader nila na nasa manibela.

"Gara naman."

Tumawa lang yung leader."Sabihin niyo na order niyo, ay tsaka pati yung dalawang binibini, tanungin niyo din, kasama din natin sila. Jijingle muna ko!"Aniya at bumaba na agad.

This is it. This is the chance that we were waiting for.

Naging busy yung mga lalaking kasama namin sa pagpili kung anong oorderin nila. Nang makita ito mabilis ko naman nilingon si Pearl.

Mabilis akong lumapit sakanya. "Okay, Pearl. Listen to me."

"Jean!Kakain tayo!Ano oorderin mo?Gutom na uli ako!"She squealed.

Umiling ako."No time for that. We have to be quick, okay? This is it. Our chance to escape. Ngayon makinig ka, we could only do this once. While no one is looking, I will quickly unlock and open the car. Pagkabukas na pagkabukas ko, wag kang magdalawang isip at mabilis mo kong sundan,okay? Once we're outside, we will run. We will run and we will not stop until we can call for help. That's the plan. Are we clear?"

Kumunot ang noo niya."Wait, what? We're gonna escape?"

"Obviously!"

"P-pero...we don't know where we are right now...tapos pano kapag nahabol nila tayo?I don't know, the plan seems risky, Jean-"

I cut her off."Pearl, this is our chance. Do you hear me?Kaya uulitin ko.Are we clear on the plan?"

She stared at me and in the end she sighed."We're clear..."
