A few moments pass and she's looked through practically everything. The gadgets and gizmos. The whatchamacallits and doodads. Nothing ever popping out and saying, weirdo scientist. He seems so strange to her. Maybe hes just...eccentric. She shrugs off her thoughts and heads back to the elevator, though she practically freezes in place as they elevator doors open slowly, the small light from inside casting an eerie shadow on the white coated scientist inside. (Y/n) didnt know what to do. Should she run? Should she hide? No. He would find her. It was her best option. Either hide or risk blowing your cover. She looked about quickly and jumped behind a few boxes next to the elevator shaft, then when he leaves she can sneak past and head up. It was full proof! Until she realized she hadn't done anything and was standing wide eyed in front of professor membrane. Shit. Her body was almost..stuck. Like she couldn't move, no matter how much she mentally screamed at her legs. He simply stared at her, his hands followed behind his back as his goggle covered eyes slowly drifted over her. His voice..god. his voice. It was cold as ice, but seemed to warm her up like hot magma flowing from a volcano. Is that what they called them? She couldn't remember. It sent strange shivers down her spine as he spoke. "You shouldn't be down here." He sounded..angry. More than that. His voice was deep and threatening and (y/n) was finally able to move her leg, though it may have been from fear. Her fight or flight instincts were kicking in and she wished she could literally take flight.

But even as she turned on her heels and made a mad dash through membranes secret lab it felt like he was right there. His eyes boring into her as she stood in the forbidden place. Some of things she ran past seemed different. Was she dreaming? What was that? Was that..a brain?! She skidded to a stop at one of the last suspension tanks, a pink floating brain hooked up to the membrane. How ironic and fitting.

Her heart begin beating out of her chest as she heard his slow and deliberate footsteps towards her. He knew the way she headed was a dead end. But she kept running. Fear fuelling her adrenaline as she sprinted, her coat flowing behind her wildly. It made her loose focus, her skin turning a soft pink color and her eyes changing in the slightest of ways.

He glazed around at his toys and gadgets. Making sure she hadn't messed with anything. Which was good. He didnt want anyone messing up his latest experiment. It was an interesting one to say the least. Turning his attention back to his female coworker, thought hopefully turned friend, but doubtfully an enemy. She ran past the boxes of..parts. And jars of..keep sake liquid. Until she ran into the edge of the lab. A thick steel wall that cornered her between him and it.

(Y/n) looked for any possible way out. Looking up and around for any crack that she could send a drone through. Get help from b.i.o. but there was nothing. So she turned around only to be met with a strong gloved hand grabbing her by the throat. She gasped softly, grabbing his wrist with her hands as he picked her up, one hand still behind his back. As he lifted her up she caught the slightest glimpse of his mouth, not really his lips but a little past his nose. A large scar seemed to have set at an early stage in his life. Starting just below his nose and going down. How far? She didnt know. She was focused on gasping for breath and trying not to be a masochists.

His grip slowly tightened around her neck as he glared at her. "Why were you down here?" This is it. I'm dead. Theres no way out of this. She gasped softly again and pulled at his hand, getting enough air to say what she needed. "I got..c-curious..there..w-was a book..." This only seemed to anger him more. His grip tightening before he slammed her against the wall harshly, knocking the breath out of her. "You must have been offly curious then. Especially with your fear of elevators." How did he..? "It was easy to tell. If your wondering. Every single day you took ten flights of stairs up to your office. It was so much easier to take the elevator. And yet you took the stairs." He tightened his grip again before he dropped her to the floor.

(Y/n) had never shaken like this in her entire life. Not even when the zerkins destroyed her world. Her planet. She had lost everything to them. And she still didnt shake like this. This man. Membrane. He..instilled fear into her. Like nothing else. Like no one else. She couldn't explain. Even as she sit gasping softly for air holding her throat gently as she sat in floor. Looking at the man above her, angry, disappointed, he was...terrifying. and she hated it.

Membrane simply watched her, waiting for her next move. Her next word. Though he had an idea of what it might be. She stood slowly. Albeit a bit shakey. Staring at him the whole time. And for some reason. Just now, she realized how tall he was compared to her. (Y/n) had never been short for her species, by no means. She was average height. But he..he almost towered over her. Seeming about a foot taller. Her head barely came up to his chest. Maybe it was the situation. She couldn't think clearly. Even as she tried to start talking her way out of the it her words were mumbled. God she hated this. This situation. The way he made her feel. The fear. The adrenaline. It was all too much.

Membrane found himself smiling at the woman. She couldn't see it thankfully. His own mind wondering what she would say to try and leave. He already had the plan in his head of what to do with her. He would by no means rape the woman. A absolutely awful thing to even think about. He may tease her. May be helpful for flirting in the future. Who knows? But he had a secret lab for secret reasons. And he had no plans for anyone to spill the beans. Even if it meant chaining up a seemingly innocent woman.

It felt like I was hyperventilating. What am I gonna do? How do I get out of this? Why cant I think!? Why can't I talk?! Talking is the easiest thing to do...ok, that's false. Talking is one of the most difficult things humans due. "I..i-i didnt mean to upset you..i..I was curious..I swear I won't tell anyone. I didnt even really look at much..." I looked at everything. You psychotic scientist. Why do you have a brain?! Membrane chuckled at her. He chuckled..why did he chuckle? Why is he chuckling? B.i.o!! I wish you could hear me! Where are those kids? Doesnt he have children to take care of? Someone help! "Oh I know. You're not going to tell anyone at all. Because you'll be stuck down here until I suppose i get bored of you. Then I'll just send you to the lab for testing." Testing?! The hell he does mean? More importantly, WHAT!? Keep me down here?! He was gonna..no..he wouldnt. He has morals. All humans have morals. They follow a code. Rules. Though membrane looked as if he threw them out the window as soon as he saw her in his lab.

Again he grabbed me by the throat, squeezing it tight until I couldn't breath. My eyes slowly felt heavy and my mind begin going blank. I cant breath. It hurts. No matter how hard I tried to claw at his gloves hand nothing worked as he watched me slowly faint. Dropping me to the ground after I was completely blacked out.
