The next week, the teacher instructed us to cut a photo  out of a magazine and draw around it.

I found a picture of a white car and glued it into my sketch of another long  road with mountains.

The next week, we were experimenting with ink and quill pens. This time, I didn't draw a road with mountains.

I decided to draw a bird. I didn't know what kind it was, it was just a small generic bird.

I wanted to add more elements to it, I drew a window, a table underneath it, and an oil lamp beside it.

My teacher walked up to me and looked at my drawing. " interesting, why is the bird inside?"

" I don't know, it's what my body told me to draw."

I thought that's what inspiration was.

Didn't everyone feel that way?
