that's when I make a b-line to the dungeons

"Severus who is it safe to ask to the ball?" I ask once in his office

"Why can't you take me?" Sev wines

"McGonagall told me I couldn't. I would if I could, and I only have eyes for you"

he huffs "No Beauxbaton they all want other stuff. Any Ravenclaw or Slytherin"

I nod "Okay Sevvy" I kiss him before going to the common room

I see Daphanee

sitting beside her I ask "Your sister's a third year Ravenclaw right?"

"Yes" Daphanee asks looking skeptical

"Could I ask her to go to the ball as friends" I question

she nods enthusiastically "she was wining about not being able to go earlier"

I finally find her in the library with two other third year Ravenclaw girls

"Hello girls" I state "Astoria may we talk in private?"

the two girls giggle as Astoria follows me out

I turn to her "Would you be willing to go to the ball with me as a friend?"

"Are you going to dance with me?"

I scoff "I'm not Charles I will be delighted to dance with you. I'll even have Crabbe and Goyle ask your two friends"

she finally nods

once I find Crabbe and Goyle I lead them to the library "See those two?"

"Their pretty" Crabbe says

"Their names are Bethany Goshawk and Anna Hawthorne" I say

they walk to the girls

their mind numbing

I think I loose brain cells talking to them

a few days later I was walking with Neville who asked Pansy to the ball when I see Charles and Weasley walking around girls looking scared

I laugh walking over "Still haven't gotten a date"

"They travel in packs" Weasley defends

"What happened to Gryffindor courage? All our friends already have dates" Neville says

"Help us" Charles pleads

I purse my lips "You can't ask Cho Chang; she's going with Diggory. Why don't you ask a third year? Maybe Lovegood or Weaslette?"

"Lovegood sounds good" Charles groans

I see Lovegood walking with Astoria

"MS. LOVEGOOD" I yell

Astoria and Luna who are now laughing walk over "How can I help you Mr. Riddle"

I chuckle "Luna my brother here wants to go to the ball with you but he lacks the courage to ask. Would you want to go as friends?"

She kisses Charles cheek "I would love too"

they walk off leaving a flushed Charles

"Weasley will be the tricky one" Neville comments

"You can't go with Granger" I say "She has a date already"

"What about Beauxbaton?" Neville asks
