"Horace Slughorn?" I ask
"That's me" the man says
I stick my hand out "It's an honor sir. My father speak of you quite often; all good things of course"
"Horace" Dumbledore says "May I use your bathroom"
"Up the stairs on the left" Slughorn says
"You know your mother, Lily, was on of my favorite potions students" Slughorn says
"She was apart of the Slug club, right?" I ask
"Yes" he says
I walk into the kitchen when they start talking about Lily
"Come along Hadrian, Charles. I know a lost cause when I see one" Dumbledore says
that was a very Slytherin tactic
"So soon" Slughorn asks
"Hadrian and I have things to discuss" Dumbledore says
"Alright" Slughorn gives "I want a new office not that closet I had"
"excellent" Dumbledore says as we walk out of the house
"Where am I going" Charles asks
"The Weasley's. Your mother and father are about to become very busy" Dumbledore explains
"What about my stuff?" Charles asks
"Waiting" he says
when we drop him off we land in his office
"Very Sly with Slughorn" I smirk
"The only way to counter a stubborn Slytherin is with Slytherin tactics" Dumbledore instructs
"Finally going to give Severus the defense position?" I ask
"Yes, please tell Severus" Dumbledore says "What do you need to tell me"
"I've given Draco Malfoy the task to kill you and then I took a vow to do it if he can't" I say
"It settled then you will kill me" Dumbledore says
"Tell me everything" I demand
"Charles is a horcrux your father's last one" Dumbledore reveals "You will need to tell him in the end"
"You've been raising him like a pig for slaughter" I yell
"Don't tell me you care for the boy" Dumbledore asks
I put my head down
"The prophecy is true then" he says "good it means you won't betray Charles like many others will"
I gulp and look away
"I'm dying" he whispers "I put on your fathers horcrux ring"
"Dunderhead" I say
"I dare say Severus is rubbing off on you" Dumbledore chuckles
I lift an eyebrow "Is that all?"
"that is all" he confirms
