Chaper Nine

"Ganito pala ang feeling ng mayaman." Bulong ni Joy sa sarili tapos biglang tumalon pahiga sa napakalambot na kama ng kanyang hotel room. She felt like she was in a dream or in a movie. Private plane, exclusive car service, a five star hotel, a luxury room with an amazing view and not but not the least, August. Hindi niya alam kung ano ang ginawa niya para matamo ito, siguro ay may na gawa siyang napakabuti para mabigyan ng opportunidad na ganito.

"Maswerte siguro ang mga baso at platong na basag ko." Joy said to herself bemusedly. But she was really thankful for her boss to have given her this once in a lifetime chance. And speaking of her boss, biglang na alala ni Joy na itetext niya pala ito.

She instantly got up from the bed and search for her phone on her bag and send a quick text to Sir Albert. She then look around the room and saw that the room have a veranda that was overlooking the white sand beach with its crystal blue sea. Dali daling lumabas si Joy na may hanggang tenga na ngiti sa kanyang mga labi. She haven't seen such beauty, sa hirap kasi ng buhay nilang pamilya ay hindi sila nakakapag.outing pamilya. At ang dagat at baybayin na nakita lang ng mga mata ni Joy ay yong makikita sa may Maynila Bay.

"Napakaganda." Sambit niya habang nakamasid sa malawak at malinis na baybayin. "Napakaganda talaga!"

"You are more beautiful than that view you know."

Napalingon sa gulat si Joy. "August! Anong ginagawa mo dito?!"

August smiled as he approach her in the veranda. "You should really learn to close the door Joy."

"Hala! Hindi ko ba na sarado ng mabuti?" Napatingin naman agad si Joy sa pintuan na ngayon ay nakasara na.

"Nope." August replied then push his hands up for a stretch then sat down on the chair in the veranda. He then called upon Joy to sit on the chair in front of him. "Nagugutom ka na ba? It's already lunch time."

Sasagot na sana si Joy ng mas na unang sumagot ang tyan niya sa kanya. She blush at the growl of her stomach.

"I will take that as a yes." August smiled at this. "The hotel's room service and Albert's café is not available yet so I think we have to go to the neighboring hotel for lunch."

Tumango na lang si Joy dahil sa kahihiyan ng kanyang pagkagutom at sumunod kay August palabas ng Hotel. Wala silang imikan habang naglalakad sa beach papunta sa katabing hotel. And there were two reason why the two of them was so silent. One was that Joy was so speechless by the beach and the white sand that she took off her sandals and happily savor the feeling of the soft sand on her feet. And with this August was silently enjoying the joy on Joy's face.

After's Joy's moment with the sand, August held her hand and guide her to the restaurant in the hotel. Joy was smiling from ear to ear not just because she was finally experiencing the beach but because of the warmth of August hand on hers. Para siyang nasa cloud nine.

"Napakamahal naman dito." Bulong ni Joy kay August. "Bakit mo ba ako laging dinadala sa kainan na napakamahal?"

August chuckled at this. "Joy wag kang mag.alala, I could afford this and I will pay for it. So just choose what ever you want to eat."

Napasimangot si Joy dahil dito. "Okay but next time dun tayo sa lugar na mas mura para ako naman ang maglilibre sayo."

Mas lalong natawa si August dito. "At bakit mo naman ako eh lilibre? Ako ang lalaki, ako dapat ang manlibre sayo."

Napa-iling si Joy. "Hindi ganun! Dapat alternate, ganun pagfriends. Paglalaki ang nanlibre iba na yon, manliligaw na yon." She explained then bit her lower lip after, regretting she said the latter part.
