After coming back from my tenth mission , I went to take a bath . I handed my armor and kimono to Kasen , for him to wash . I take a dive into the warm water and enjoy this moment . Master build a separate bath especially for me . I can keep a huge onsen for myself , very lucky indeed . But lonely . The male's onsen is beside mine one . I could hear them chatting and laughing . I'm quite envy them for having companions .

Mists covering my sight and the smell of soap lingering in my nose . The hotness burning from my toes to my face . I lean my back onto the wood to support myself . Thinking back now , I really have fun in this citadel . I remember how bad my accent is but I improve a lot thanks to them . Everyday is a surprise , it never bored me . Going on a mission to discover new things , observing the history in the background and fighting alongside . I almost lost my life but the toudan danshi protected me . I tug my lips upward , forming a smile .
After a long hour of bath , I got out . Water sliding down from my skin and dripping down my hair . I wrapped the towel around my body . I dry myself before putting on a newly fresh clothes . The weather is nice so I decided to wear something short . I tied my hair into a (bun/ponytail/twin ponytail)

I walk out from the changing room ." Ah (Y/━!", Yagen stop when he sees me ." Yes Yagen ?", I question and take a step closer to him . He look away with a blush ," *cough* Aruji-sama request for your presence ". He hurried away after saying those words . I haven't given my replied yet and he had disappear like lightning . I wonder why but I brush it off since meeting master is more important , so I quicken my speed .
As I walk pass Oodenta and Sohayanotsurugi , they had their eyes widen and jaws drop . It like they saw something unbelievable for their first time . Like what I usually do , I ignore them . For some reason I caught a lot of stare from most of the toudans . Iwatooshi is covering Imanotsurugi's eyes . Fudou and Nihonguo spill out their sake while Uguisumaru , Mikazuki , Kogitsunemaru and Chiyoganemaru spill out mouthful of tea . Tsurumaru , Kashuu , Yasusada , Ichigo , Doudanuki , Horikawa , Yamanbagiri and Izuminokami flush in red . And the others just went shock or giving me a weird look .
I arrive at master's door and give three knocks ." Coming ", his fainted voice said . I slide open the door revealing master doing his paperwork ." What do you need me for master ?", I question . He face up from the paper and his face went surprise ." (Y/N) do you wear this while walking to my room ?", he ask a really weird question . I nodded confusingly . He coughed twice before cooling himself ." Did the toudans stares at you ?", he ask . I nodded again ." And do you know why ?", he question and I shake my head . He let out a sighed ," As you know there's only males in this citadel and wearing such a exposing clothes will caught them off guard . They are not use to seeing girls with less . . . . . . garments ". I feel guilty for a moment ." Should I change ?", I query ." There's no need , they need to get use to it ", he replied .
He straighten himself and his face turns serious ." (Y/N) I want you to become the next master of this citadel ". Hearing such a words coming from his mouth . Shock wave spread through my mind ." W-Wait what ? A-Are you sure ?!", I stutter . Sweat forming on my palm ." Yes and I think you're ready ", master said calmly ." B-But what about y-you ? Is m-master leaving ?", I panicked . My heart is beating in sonic speed ." No I'm not , it's time for me to retire . And I need to have my break too ", he explain ." But you're not that old yet ", I pointed ." I'm 145 years old ", I choke on my saliva when hearing such a fact ." Once you decided to take up this job , you're body will stop growing but your age will continue on ", he explain . It's like those fantasy novel that I've read .
" (Y/N) can you take in this place for me ?", master requested . I bite my lips and went silence for a moment . This is the hardest decision that I need to make in my life . I face at master , looking into his eyes ." If this is what you want master then I will comply ", I kneel down . He smile warmly at me ," Congratulate for your graduation (Y/N) (L/N) ".

The snow landed on the grass and later melted ." I-It's snowing !", Gokotai exclaim . Midare spin around like a princess ." Let's play snowball fight !", Urashima suggested . All the smaller toudan grab a handful of snow and began throwing at each other ." So cold~", Shinano complain . Nikkari , Shinano and Juzumaru sit around the kotatsu , warming themselves . Later Mikazuki and the other old mans join in . The others is training in the sparring room . While some is doing household chores . The rests is praying in the shrine . Like everyday , nothing had change .
" (Y/N)-sama it's snowing !", Konnosuke tell me . I put down the brush and look outside through the window ." Oh it's that time of the year ", I commented . Because of the position I'm in , I always lost track on time . I pretty much got use to it ." (Y/N)-Sama the expedition team is back ", Nakigitsune's fox said behind the sliding door ." Alright , you may dismiss ", I nodded . I heard his footsteps fainting away .
I stare at the grey cloud . Droplet of flakes scattering in the air . The cold wind blew into my room . I order Konnosuke to leave it open because I want to enjoy the bitter feelings . Having isolate in my office for all days , I didn't spend time outside . I miss it but the toudans will pay me a visit every hours . They didn't know but it help me to relief my stress . I heard laughter on the outside . It must be coming from the yard . Hearing how happy they are made my day . I take a deep breath before turning back to my work . I take up the brush and intertwine it with my fingers . Another year , another month and another day . Peaceful and beautiful .
