I can't go for Clay next, I need to get Darryl first. He can heal people, and I can't allow that. He can also heal himself, so hes gonna be a hard one to kill.
I went upstairs towards the room Clay was in, just so I could 'see how hes doing'. I knocked on the door, no response. "Clay," I knocked once again. "You've been in there for half an hour, are you okay?"
"Just like George said."
"Would I be okay if one of the people I cared most about died?"
I just stood there, silent. I didnt answer, and I dont know why. Yes, I've lost people, but nobody close. I just walked away. I went to my room, looking out the window, remembering everything that happend. How did that happen? I asked myself, opening the window, climbing out.
I sat on a branch, the one next to the one that had broken, and where I fell. It feels like that was just yesterday when that happened. I looked up into the dark blue sky, asking myself the same question.
How did this happen?
