The Adventure of Sharkboy, Lavagirl, and Wolfgirl (OC insert)

Chapter 19

Val's POV

The dream journal was now in ashes.

What are we going to do now?

"Oh, no. What have I done?" Lavagirl says in shock.

"That's terrific, LG!" Sharkboy says sarcastically.

I nudge Sharkboy softly on his arm. He shouldn't have said that.

"It's okay, Lavagirl. It was an accident." Max says to Lavagirl.

"Why did you make me out of lava?! Why, Max?!" Lavagirl asks in anger.

Lavagirl walks to a rock and sits down.

Max was going to go talk to Lavagirl, but Sharkboy stops him by grabbing his arm.

"Just let her cool down. She's just blowing off steam." Sharkboy says to Max.

Max doesn't listen and just walks towards Lavagirl.

"I know I can be good. I can feel it. But everything I touch, I destroy. why did you make me like that? I have more potential." Lavagirl says to Max.

"I'm sure you do." Max says.

"And why'd you make us a team? We're nothing alike. When I'm near water, I fizzle out. When they're near heat, they shrivel. We're not compatible. The only ones who make a great team is Sharkboy and Wolfgirl." Lavagirl explains to Max. Lavagirl's hair started to go in flames with anger.

"Your... hair's on fire." Max says to Lavagirl.

"Yeah, it does that." Lavagirl says back to Max.

Sharkboy shoots water at Lavagirl's hair. Her hair is now wet.

"Thanks, Sharkie." Lavagirl says to Sharkboy.

Sharkboy nods in response.

"Maybe I really am evil. So far everything else you've dreamed has been correct. Maybe I just need to learn to accept it." Lavagirl says in sadness.

"That's it! Everything I've dremt so far has been correct. The Crystal Heart! Yeah, we were captured, but that's because Minus doesn't want me to get it." Max says.

Lavagirl smiles at this and stands up.

We then see the darkness getting closer to us.

How are we going to get to the Ice Castle in time?

"We have to get back to the Ice castle." Max says to us.

"10 minutes left. We'll never make it!" Sharkboy says as he takes out his timer.

"We can do it!" Max says as he walks towards the Ice castle.

"How?" I ask in confusion.

Max turns to face us. "You're Sharkboy, Lavagirl, and Wolfgirl. You can do anything." Max answers.

We then get determined and look in the direction of the Ice Castle.

We are going to get the Crystal Heart.

Third POV

Minus is still sleeping on his chair.

Mr. Electric walks up to Minus.

"Wake up!" Mr. Electric says to Minus.

Minus wakes up and sits up in his chair.

"What?" Minus asks in annoyance.

"They escaped. And they're getting the Crystal Heart." Mr. Electric answers.

"Shut it down. Shut it all down now!" Minus says in anger.

"I did. It's on a grid system. It takes time for the darkness to travel." Mr. Electric says to Minus.

"How soon?" Minus asks.

"Not soon enough." Mr. Electric answers.

"Then destroy him." Minus tells Mr. Electric.

"How?" Mr. Electric asks.

"By smashing his most precious dream. Sharkboy and Lavagirl." Minus answers.

"What about Wolfgirl?" Mr. Electric asks him.

"Don't worry about her. There is no way that she will to get her powers back." Minus asnwers.

An evil smile creeps up on Minus' face.
