A/N: Channel pup asks the interesting question about film adaptations of Superheroes and their origins.
Austin: the way I see it I think they matter to telling it to the audience if either:
A. The director wants to tell the origin with his/her own spin of it.
B. Some sort of contradiction comes up to where the origin may need to be addressed.
or
C. It's a not very known character who's origin is needed to be brought up so audiences can get the idea on how they came to be.
When it comes to more well known superheroes, I don't want to keep seeing Uncle Ben or the Waynes getting shot or Krypton explode over and over. Because they've been told enough times already to the point that many people aware of who they are and how they came to be.
