Something Special (part three)

Julie's pov:

"Julie!!!!!!!!!" Before I could even blink, the sound of my front door is being slammed open, causing me to drop the can of Pringles in my hand in shock.

"Oh not her again." I giggle at my dads remark as he moves out of the way, giving Gianna the space to rush past him and towards me, engulfing me in a hug.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." She repeats over and over while squeezing me to death.

To be honest, I felt bad.

Typically, when something is bothering me or I feel like I'm overthinking, she's the person who I can find myself trusting and being able to talk to.

It's just Gianna's personality. She always knows what to say and she can cheer you up instantly when you are down.

Maybe if I would have talked to her about it from the start this whole fiasco could have been avoided.

But I guess there is nothing that I can do about it now.

"Apology accepted if you give me the chance to breath." I joke, coming back to reality.

She quickly let's go at my words, "The thing is I knew that following along with the boys was a bad idea in the first place! I should have listened to the voice in the back of my head telling me it was wrong when Ashton told us to go on a separate group chat to finish the final touches of the plan. But I promise that it was all good intentions and none of us wanted you to get hurt in the process-..." she continues to ramble but I cover her mouth with my hand, giving her a small smile showing her that it was okay.

"I know, I know. When Ashton apologized earlier he told me everything. I understand that it was just a mistake and none of you meant any harm. Plus, you know how the boys are, once they have their minds on something, the rest of their brain tends to... shut down." I take my hand away from her mouth as she chuckles at my comment.

"I couldn't agree with you more. I just wish I took that into consideration when I followed along with them."

"I promise, I'm not upset at you or anyone for that matter. I just feel bad because I ruined the whole date. Ashton had this huge surprise planned and I ruined it because I was too quick to judge the situation."

She shakes her head while putting a hand on my shoulder, "It's not your fault at all! If I was put in your shoes I probably would have done the same. Sure, there may have been more... physical pain on the boys part if it was me, but nevertheless I would have been hurt."

I chuckle, her words touching my heart as I pull her in for another hug, "This is why you're my bestfriend, you always know what to say... even if it frightens me a little bit."

She laughs, "And this is why you are my best friend, you are able to put up with my craziness. But as much as I would like to continue this and be more sentimental, you've got a boyfriend whose expecting you in less than an hour and I've gotta get you glamorous."

...

"Are you saying that I wasn't already glamorous to begin with?"

"Shush."

"Nooooooooooooooooooo" I run around my house as Gianna chases me, lipstick in hand, and a deadly look in her eyes.

"COME BACK HERE!!!!" She says, hot on my tail as I hurdle over the coach.

Wow.

I'm freakin cool.
