- Insanity -

Days going by, everything's calm, No big problems on the Hermitcraft server, yes the occasional thing of Tag 2: Electric Boogaloo, or some accident happening for a hermit, but nothing too bad, that is, until you count the man building the winery, Joe was spending his time in his winery, fixing stuff, building it, and very busy overall, without any rest Joe was exhausted, he wanted a rest but he was close to finishing it already, so he didn't stop, eventually he started losing track of time, so he took a little time off to take a small 1-hour break to eat something good, and go to the shopping district, where he found Bdubs selling some clocks he didn't need, so he bought one and put it on [The ones that go on your wrist] It helped him keep track of time.

One of the days he started paying attention to the ticking the clock's hands were making, whenever he slept, whenever he worked, he always heard that constant tick, sometimes he just went into automatic and did what he had to do automatically without even knowing since he got lost in the sound of the clock's ticking, normally he snapped out of it by a cold breeze of wind as he realized it's night, or by hunger or thirst, but without those, he'd be in automatic and work until he was dead, which wouldn't be a good thing, but at least he did get out of it, eventually, having not seen him in weeks, other hermits started getting worried, Cleo mostly, she knew Joe the best, and knew this wasn't him, however, things on Joe's head weren't looking straight

"Joe? Are you there ?" Cleo asked which got Joe to snap out of the clock's ticking, his body was tired, he was sleepless, small hallucinations appearing whenever he looked away of what he was doing, he was stinky and wasn't in a very good condition, his eyes looked lifeless without that shine they normally have, they looked dead overall, and that worried Cleo  "Oh, hello ZombieCleo !" He said in a cheery and calm tone, as he was going to act like he was ok "Everything alright? We're getting worried as we haven't seen you out in a while" Cleo asked him, and he answered with "Yeah! Just finishing the last touches on my winery, what do you think of it ?" His tone a little proud, but still missing that charm the original Joe had "It's coming along pretty well... But are you sure you're ok? you don't look good, and you're stinky" Joe answered with I'm okay Cleo don't worry But Cleo worried, although acting like she wasn't, their conversation lasted a while

Eventually, Cleo left, which made Joe sigh in relief, his eyes still blank without any emotion, the original Joe was long gone, fallen to insanity, to the ticking, he focused on it once again and looked back at the winery wondering what was left, but in reality, he had finished everything, he sighed as he took some plans out of a chest and looked at them, he ended up going for a walk thinking which of the two other buildings he had to do when he felt a hand touch his shoulder and pull him backward, he turned instantly and saw Keralis looking at him worriedly, apparently, Joe had lost track of time and had been walking for around seven hours aimlessly around the shopping district, and Keralis who had been working on a shop saw him the first time, and when he finished he saw him again, so he got worried and went to ask.

"Joe, you're starting to worry me, not only have I not seen you in a long time but you went 7 hours straight just wondering around the shopping district !" Keralis said worriedly "If there's anything wrong just tell us... Please Joe, you're something else this server needs you, we need to know if there's something wrong" to what Joe answered with "Keralis, you should know I'm fine, I probably zoned out while walking" calmly, Keralis just stares at him worriedly and says "Take a break, Joe, you already finished the winery, take a break," Keralis says while he places his hand on Joe's shoulder, Joe slowly takes Keralis hand off of his shoulder and shakes his head in a no motion "I'm alright Keralis, I'll get going now as I have a lot of work to do !" He says as he starts running back to the winery and searching plans, but Keralis knows something is up, so he flies to X to tell him about this

Joe entered the winery and held his face, his right eye to be exact, his other hand, the one with the clock gripping the table, he takes off the hand from his eye and looks at the mirror on his side, his right eye has been replaced by a clock, black hands, and a golden edge,it looks painful, it is painful, it is crying slightly as his other eye focuses on the mirror, his voice which sounds duplicated, one tone is in pain searching for freedom while the other one is insane and crazy, he says with his duplicated voice while looking into the mirror at his eyes...

"We both know... What we know"

Ya'll I hadn't written in a long time and I wanted to write something edgy so I eventually wrote this, wrote 600 words one day and the rest today, Thanks for reading, this is going to be a two-part chapter because I'm bored and kind of lost wanting to do this, but I hope ya'll like me actually coming back and posting something
