-Sophie's P.O.V.

I was standing in the middle of the road, staring at chaos that surrounded me - the fire, people running, fighting, explosions. The screams.. It was breaking my heart.

"Sophie look out!" Tony yelled out and flew right in front of me, blocking the way and destroying the rocks that were thrown at me.

My eyes were widened and I breathed heavily.

"I don't know what's going on with you but please stay focused." He told me as soon his mask disappeared for a few seconds before putting it back on and flying away to draw the attention.

I shook my head and looked around, noticing a group of people hiding behind a smashed car, fear eating them up. I quickly ran towards them when an alien creature, similar to the ones from the battle of New York, only more uglier and with much more teeth, grabbed my leg and started pulling me towards itself. I tried to release myself by kicking it, but the grip was too tight and I could feel the claws penetrating my skin and muscles, the burning pain. I screamed in anger and pulled out one of my daggers, slicing immediately its limp and finishing it by slicing its neck.

The frightened citizens were staring at me, but their eyes were clearly saying "thank you".

"Go!" I motioned them with my head, while sitting on the ground and they quickly ran away to safety.

I slowly got up, feeling the pain in my leg. I caught a glimpse of the wound and I was bleeding. How convenient.. Nontheless, I was certain it was nothing but a flesh wound and the moment I took a first step,  hoping to run and try to save the world, the pain increased so much that I fell on the ground. I was totally pissed off and, as you can imagine, I started swearing everyone and everything.

"Five minutes into battle and you're already bloody useless! Gosh, I am so pathetic." I said to myself while trying to figure out how to stop the bleeding, but I had nothing appropriate to use.

"I can't deny that you're pathetic sometimes, but there is no need to belittle yourself." Loki commented, appearing out of nowhere.

"Ha ha, hilarious as usual."

He knelt down next to me, staring at my hurt leg. His clothes looked unusual. I mean in a way that I haven't seen anything like that before, but it looked pretty cool to me. It was a dark green suit, or should I say armor, with an even darker shade of green cape.

"We need to put pressure on the wound, otherwise you're going to get much worse."

"No shit Sherlock." I groaned and he looked at me blankly.

"You know... I know this will be extremely difficult for you to do, but could you please be nice once in a while?"

I gave him the most fake smile he ever saw in his entire life. "You  do it first and then maybe I will."

In return, Loki gave me the biggest eye roll. "Mighty Allfather, give me strength." He sighed and ripped up his cape. I stared at him in confusion. "What are you doing?"

He wrapped up my leg with the fabric and tied it up very tightly, making me wince in pain for a moment. "This should do it for now. You need to get to the ship with the guardians." He advised but I just couldn't agree with him.

I barely got up on my own, I had to hold onto his arm for a moment. "No way. Nuh-uh. I am an an Avenger and  I will do my duty and fight!"

The Asgardian sighed and just out of the blue, picked me up by wrapping his arms around my legs and placing me on his shoulder.

"Loki stop it! Put me down!"

He started laughing, I simply knew this was amusing for him.

"You are an injured warrior who needs medical attention and you will shut up and listen." He replied with a calm voice and carried me a few steps before we suddenly teleported to the spaceship.
