"Pepper, listen to me. Calm down. Everything is going to be just fine." Sophie said calmly while she was buttoning up her wedding dress.

"I can't! I am used to being the one in charge and it's not that I don't trust the wedding planner. How can you be so calm???" The bride heavily breathed.

"Well, I am not the one who is getting married today. But believe me, I am very, very excited!" She replied with a big smile on her face.

Pepper was looking at herself in the mirror. Her wedding gown was simple- it was backless, with a boat neckline and long sleeves, white as the snow.

Her hair was down, the gentle waves were falling over her shoulders. The makeup was subtle, yet it gave a bold classy look. A bright red lipstick was her secret weapon. As for the jewelry, she had stunning pearl earring and her engagement ring.

"Wow... You look like a princess", Sophie whispered, "Tony's going to faint when he sees you."

Pepper smirked. "He better."

Sophie handed her over a bouquet of red roses and silently watched her in the mirror, trying to hold back the tears.

"I'm so glad you're my maid of honour." Pepper smiled and hugged Sophie tight. "I love you so much."

"I love you too. Now, please don't make me cry because it will ruin my mascara." She chuckled and slightly lifted her chin up so her tears wouldn't slide down her cheeks.

In that moment, Wanda and Natasha entered the room and were totally left speechless.

"I still cannot believe you two are finally getting married. It was about damn time." Agent Romanoff commented and made everyone laugh.

Wanda and Natasha were bridesmaids. The two of them, as well as Sophie, were wearing long strapless burgundy dresses, made out of chiffon. The bridesmaids had their hair curled similarly as the brides, only Natasha's hair was short, while Sophie's hair had a white crystal on the side, since her hair was naturally curly and needed no fixing.

Natasha peeked through the door.
"Pepper, it's time."

Tony was nervously walking left and right, with arms behind his back, while Rhodey couldn't stop laughing at him.

"Dude, what is wrong with you? It's just a wedding, it ain't that bad. Calm down."

"The more I wait, the worse it gets. What if she changes her mind?" Tony looked at him with fear in his eyes. Rhodey rolled his eyes and took a few steps towards him, placing both of his hands on his shoulders.

"As your best man, I am allowed to say this: If she hasn't left you by now.. and we all know through what kind of shit she went for YOU, I don't think she ever will. She loves you and you love her. Now.. calm down, take a deep breath and lets get this show on the road. Okay?"

Tony smiled and glanced at the mirror for the last time. He was wearing a white tux, a white shirt and a black bow with a red handkerchief in his left pocket. Of course, because Tony is Tony, he wore red glasses with a black frame.

"I'm not saying someone's about to have a smoking hot husband but..."

Someone knocked on the door. Steve entered and smiled at the groom and best man.
