The Silence of the Silence

I can't sleep.
I don't want to sleep.
I'm scared to sleep.

          What if this is my last? What if I can no longer see you?

          I love darkness. I would always turn off the lights when I sleep or when I watch a movie. I prefer sunset better than sunrise. I love looking at the stars at night more than walking under the sun. Yes, I love darkness except when I close my eyes.

          Please, hush the voice in my head.
