"The City at Night"

The starry night sky
Matches the building lights
Making this enormous city
The brightest place tonight

Lest that I waste this view
I decided to just walk alone.
And at this moment, I realized,
It's not bad to be on your own.

That maybe it isn't a bad idea
To love ourselves
Because at the end of the day,
No one's there, aside from yourself.

But still I don't regret
Those nights I spent to talk with you.
I'll never regret it, for at that moment
I thought it's the right thing to do.

And if that moment didn't happened
Maybe I will never know.
That some people in this world.
Couldn't just keep their own word.

And even if people couldn't keep
Their own words and promises,
The street lights told me that
It doesn't lessen my worth.

For I'm still me and you're still you.
And the only difference is that
I learned something that you didn't.
And you lost something but I didn't.
