10:45 PM:

You sighed as you left your room and headed out the two front doors of the House of Lamentation, leaving behind everything. You had to accept this all and go back to where you are meant to be. You've been here for a year and have walked through this old forest that leads back to the house for what seems like a million times, but now you have to let it go. You turned around slowly as you walked and looked back at the house that was now in the distance. You stopped in your tracks and sighed as your eyes remained glued to the house. The more you stared at it, the more you felt your heart going back to it; back to the place you don't belong. You shook your head and looked down at the ground, kicking the dirt furiously.

You stood there for minutes just thinking without end and decided that you needed to continue on. Maybe, you thought, just maybe this is where you vow to forget the bonds you have and leave not just the people you consider family behind, but your heart too. Carefully, you stripped the thoughts of your head and the feelings you had from your heart, turning cold as you disturbed what has grown inside of you. You plucked away at everything left until it all was bare of what was ever planted. You held everything tightly before you finally decided to let it all go, confirming that you were leaving everything entirely behind.

Your eyes broke contact with the house as you turned around, leaving it alone to rest with your heart beside it. This was for the best, you thought to yourself as you walked through the forest all the way to RAD. This just made it easier to say goodbye to the ones you wish to hold close to you for eternity, but eternity was never a promise to begin with.
