Coming to the conclusion that he needed help was the easy step, moving forward was much harder than he would have thought. What exactly did he even want to do? Though the darkness had cleared his mind, by the time the sun rose it was a muddled mess again. He had managed to drag himself back to his dorm room, thankful that Yukio had already left for the morning. He was going to run into his twin outside of the classroom sooner or later and he wasn't looking forward to that. It was going result in one painful, both mentally and possibly physically, conversation. He had been noticeably avoiding everyone and on occasion hiding from Shura and skipping his training. Rin knew they were frustrated with him. He didn't necessarily hate them but his newfound realization that he wasn't one of them kept him away. How was he supposed to train as part of a team he did not belong to?

Rin decided he couldn't think about it anymore and slunk into his room. It was far too early for this sort of mental torture, not to mention he had training later. Shura, much to his dismay, could read him far too easily for his liking. He wasn't sure if the others, Yukio included, could see through him quite like that, or if they simply didn't care enough to try. It was thoughts such as those that pulled him back into the downward spiral that he just wasn't in the mood for. So, with the last of his strength, he collapsed into bed not bothering with showering or even changing and let his mind slip into semi peaceful sleep.

He wasn't down for long when he was abruptly torn form the dark. But this time it wasn't because of some alarm or human intervention. It was his own stomach. He had forgotten, amid all his inner turmoil, that he had not eaten properly for the last few days. Partly because of his foggy thoughts, and another, what he assumed was a demonic trait. He just didn't feel hungry, at least not in the same way. He would eat the same meals as always, but he never seemed quite satisfied. There was something lacking that he couldn't place and honestly, he wasn't sure if he wanted to. But instead of leaving him starving it was causing him to feel satiated, an odd feeling for one who had not eaten in days.

Rin pushed himself out of bed with a yawn that showed off his growing fangs. He licked around them briefly almost impressed with how much they had grown. He was sure that was a trait the others had noticed too. He rubbed his eyes and pushed himself from his bed.

Rin quietly opened his room door and gave a quick sniff. He hated how he could tell with one intake of breath that Yukio's scent was old, but it was incredibly convenient. He came out of the room much more energetic than he had entered and sauntered to the kitchen to make something to eat. He was glad to note Ukobac already starting to prepare a dish. The kitchen spirit seemed much more Intune with Rin than he had been before, likely due to Rin's change in demeanor. It was helpful, though, he suspected that Ukobac was also reporting to Mephisto. But was that really such a bad thing? He was the only one that knew the truth. A flash of Amaimon came across his thoughts and for once he did not mind.

Rin thanked the little familiar and began to lazily eat. He made a conscious effort not to think of anything that would put him back into the depths of his mind. It was a difficult task but one he was determined to manage. He needed a break, just something little to keep him from snapping. And though it was not true peace, the mundane task of eating breakfast was all he wanted.

He haphazardly checked the time and realized he was going to be late for training. He wanted to skip, again, but the last time he did that Shura had come barging in and dragged him out. He wasn't in a particularly good mood deal with her energy. So, he got up from the table, thanked the kitchen spirit and grabbed his wooden sword, making his way out and to the training area.
